Stayed for only 1 night in a double room. The room was clean and simple, but very tiny - especially the bathroom. Room had a TV, but no tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel location is good, close to the historical centre, but out of the centre enough to be quiet. Perfectly fine for a short stop over, if...

Like every other budget hotel, the rooms were simple and basic. But that's what you pay for, so no complaint. But be warned. The air conditioning for every room is not functioning "until the third week in July" while new units are being installed. It is a hot buildign anyway. We had to sleep with the windows open and on...

I just spent 3 nights in this hotel with a group. We paid € 95,- pr room/night and I think it was a bit high because there was some big conference in town, so most hotels were full. The hotel is part of a chain, so you don’t get too much boutique charm, but no quirks either. I think most...

Last month we decided to go to one of our favorite cities, just for the weekend, nothing special. Because of its location we decided to try out the Ibis Hotel St Catharine, boy were we disapointed. Never have we stayed in a smaller twin room than this time. The bathroom is so small that it is impossible to dry yourself...

We had a nice little stay at the Ibis. This was a typical chain, hotel so it doesn't have the unique charm of smaller hotels, but it was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very polite. Everything in the room/ bathroom looked to be new too. Overall, quite pleasant.

Standard Ibis, though the room seemed recently refurbished. Comfortable double bed and small bathroom with shower. The bathroom had a window. Our room was facing the Novotel next door, but I overheard someone asking at the reception for a room overlooking the Sainte Catherine church. We paid only 52€ per night, so we were extremely happy with the hotel and...

I stayed there for 1 night in March 2006. Price was 111 Euro incl. breakfast. The hotel is in walking distance to the Grande Place (5-10 min). There was one double bed, 1 window (towards the cathedral), no wardrobe only shelves, one desk and one chair. Bathroom was very small, especially the "way" to the toilet. Breakfast was okay (croissant,...

......for more room...it's small! Okay, I know my friend and I are Americans and we are used to bigger hotel rooms (plus I know all Europeans think Americans complain too much over there) BUT, when I say the rooms are tiny... I mean TINY! While we were over in Europe we stayed at 4 other hotels... 3 of which were...

We stayed at the Ibis Ste. Catherine hotel for 7 nights during our stay in Brussels, in late August 2004. The hotel is ideally located behind Ste. Catherine, it's a great, quiet location as it is close to everything. The staff was really friendly and ready to help 24 hours, always with a smile on their face. The small bar...

Have been many times to Brussels - decided to stay here based on reviews. What a mistake! Tiny room even for Ibis. Only 1 window, not air conditoned. Hot & stuffy in summer with no air circulation. Room was missing towels and soap when we checked in. Room not cleaned or made up after one night. Desk VERY unhelpful until...
