Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very comfortable room, spacious and clean. Excellent shower! The blinds close automatically and make the room nice and dark to get plenty of rest. Location is very convenient, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping, and a short beautiful walk to the main areas. Delicious breakfast. Only draw back is the noise coming from a nightclub on Saturday night until 2:30 am.

Very good location, in the centre of the Toison d' Or area. The rooms have a good size and the staff is friendly. Points to improve: the area of the breakfast is too small given the number of clients; the layout and the organization of the breakfast room is not efficient, too many sofas unecessatilly crowd the room and the available space; the heating (AC) in the room is very weak and does not always work; several of the lifts did not work.

The place has the most unfriendly reception team I came across in the last 6 months - why it has been a problem to ask whether one needs an invoice or not I do not know. It is a huge house, they ask you to pay in advance - in case you want to have a breakfast, you probably need to manage with the restaurant directly - it was not offered to include it into the price. The rooms are generally fine, a lot of plastic and polyester- the picture is the mirror underneath the sink ( not regularly cleaned). Not the place for a city trip.

This was an excellent hotel to stay at, I will definitely come back. The rooms are modern, and exceptionally comfortable. I didn’t want to leave the bed as the mattress and bedding are perfect. The shower is also excellent, with perhaps the biggest rainfall showerhead I’ve seen in a hotel room! The breakfast was excellent - both the variety and quality were good. I particularly liked the yoghurt machine with a range of toppings which was a unique feature. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Horrible unhygienic hotel with a premium price tag, avoid if you can. The reception and restaurant appear at first glance to be top quality although there is a very overpowering smell of sewage/toilet as soon you enter and the hotel lobby manager was quite abrupt and unfriendly. The hotel is located right bang in the middle of all the designer shops which is a plus, however, it all goes downhill from there the rooms are completely filthy with NO smart TVS or full length mirrors in this day and age in a western country! Room service closes way too early and hotel staff are unknowledgeable and unhelpful. I wouldn’t stay here again and don’t recommend.

I went to the ground level bar of the Hotel for a birthday drink with a friend: a celebration! Besides the distrustful attitude of the head waiter and being brought the wrong drink initially, we had to drink our €10 glass of wine from chipped glasses! Seriously!

I stayed for two nights. After I´ve cheched out, I stayed for some minutes in the bar in a business phone call. In the middle of the business call, I was interrupted by an employee of the bar (Rahhid ?) that, in an very agressive way, told me I had to buy something. After I finished the call I asked for a drink and told him that his behaviour was unecceptable. He said that the drink was for free but I refused the offer and paid (since he did not apologise)

The view from 17-th floor was amazing. We didn't take breakfast as we preferred to have brunch out of the hotel. The room was spacious, but bathroom needs update. The shower area was mouldy and towels were dirty. Complimentary mini bar was a bonus! Bed linen was very soft and bed comfortable. Also we liked the small convenient store by the reception and it was reasonably priced. Disliked · There was only 1 bin in the bathroom and as we had few beverages in the room and the maid never took it away when we left them on the side. we stayed 3 nights. It was a girlie break for us as we live in different countries and decided to meet up in Brussels. The hotel communication before our arrival was very good but they failed to inform us that the SPA is out of ORDER. It was one of our main purpose to relax and catch up. When we checked in it was mentioned. We asked about the lounge and it can be used only with certain rooms and we got never offered that even for extra price.

This is a really lovely hotel located in the city centre of Brussels. It is a very high building in perspective I think it is one of the tallest here. Truly a spectacular sight. Hotel is well situated near bars restaurants cafes and lots more. The hotel is very very nice and the staff are very accommodating and friendly throughout my stay. The spa sauna area is truly remarkable and highly relaxing located on the 23rd floor it offers beautiful views of surrounding areas. Food and drinks also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely delightful.

A one night stay. Initially check in was painless, automated key recognition on the bedroom meant no access without a staff member for 3 hours. My biggest problem is with the bar service. Looking for a nightcap around 9.30pm i sat at the bar for between 15-20 minutes. 3 or 4 staff members were circulating and appeared busy although some were simply clearing used glasses. At no point no anyone make eye contact or ask if anything was required or say please be patient we will be with you shortly. They didnt even seem to notice when my patience wore this and i left. The following lunchtime i left the conference i was attending on a different floor to attend to some work. The bar/restaurant/lobby are open plan and all merge. I sat at a corner table out of the way, barely visible from the bar, to access a power supply, all other tables, with the exception of a few in the distant restaurant were empty. Suddenly im of interest to one of the bar tenders who completely ignored me the previous evening, he asked what i wanted to drink. Nothing i explained, as i was just catching up with work. "You cannot sit here without a drink as you are in the bar area, you have to move. It was not apparent that i was in the bar, i had seen several other guests using the same tables earlier, without any evidence of drink or food. Not what i would expect from a hotel who claims "Enjoy relaxed luxury and sophisticated services on every visit." Perhaps it should be the "inhospitality industry"
