I enjoyed my stay overall. The hotel is in a good, central location and the rooms are spacious and clean enough. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but I was rudely spoken to twice in a matter of minutes. First, by the staff at breakfast, and second, in an elevator with a member of the cleaning staff. At breakfast, I had no idea you were meant to return the trays at a specific location and I got reprimanded for that. In the elevator, the cleaning staff member wanted me to leave the elevator so he could come in and bring his cleaning trolley into the elevator. It was a weird experience. I rarely write anything negative but I felt like I had to point this out.

Good location, few minutes walk to Rogier metro station. About 15 minute walk to Grand Place Rooms a good size and clean. Breakfast was good. Not allowed to check in until exactly 3pm. Means there is a bit of a rush to try and use the elevators which are quite small

Room Tip: Try not to check out at busy times. Took quite a few go’s to be able to get a lift that wasn’t full

This place was wonderful! We had a superior twin and a duplex which sleeps 4, both of which were spotlessly clean, and the duplex sporting a delightful roof terrace. The shower in the twin was a little fussy in that turning the temp by a tiny bit was the difference between scalding hot and freezing cold, but the pressure was great and once you got the knack you could get the perfect temp for yourself. A highly recommended budget friendly accommodation. The free breakfast in the morning was good too, baguettes, ham, cheese, eggs amd copious amounts of coffee and juice!

This hotel is in a great location to walk in the city center for all sightseeing places. We enjoyed the simple but fresh complimentary breakfast. But without air conditioning in the heatwave was really hard for us to get some good sleep. We preferred not to turn on the big fan because it was too noisy & it could not take away the heat in the room at all (no matter how you put the fan). The street outside was noisy no matter what time it was. We met some youths who did not know how to use the washer & dryer. Then we ended up spent loooong time for our laundry but still the clothes were not dry. It was a good deal for the location & breakfast but maybe not good for staying summer time.

What a quaint hostel. I stayed in a mixed room of 6 people for 2 nights with the sole intention to explore Brussels over the bank holiday weekend. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable, there was a light and 2no. USB plugs. It was more than adequate for a solo-visit. To my surprise; breakfast was included! It was a mix of breads, cold meats, eggs (boiled and scrambled), fruit, juice and coffee. For such a decent rate - I would have happily paid extra for this breakfast. The only negative is that a towel isn’t provided free of charge. However, this is most minimal and expected in most European hostels.. just plan ahead so you’re not caught out!

This is a brilliant hostel. I stayed here for one night in July to explore Brussels for 2 days. I stayed in a single room which was clean and very comfortable. The hostel has an excellent location and was near a multitude of sites, shops and places to eat. The breakfast was great and far better than you would expect in a hostel. The only downside is that towels aren't free to use (only 1 euro nevertheless) and also that it got a bit hot, perhaps they could provide fans for an extra charge? Be sure to book in advance for single rooms as they get booked up pretty far in advance - I made my reservation in January for July!

I really like the room, it’s clean and well equiped with basic needs. Beds are clean and I really like the small balcony. Breakfast is very good. Location is close to the grand place and train station. The only downside is that it’s very humid in the Summer time since there is no air conditioning. It’s hard to sleep at night when it’s humid. Over all, I enjoyed my stay.

Worst Stay of my life. We had a superior double bedroom. Safe wasn't working, Flush wasn't working, Window blind was broken and left on the floor. They changed our room but second room also had issues. Safe wasn't working and no Fridge. We stayed there for three nights and it was an extremely hot weekend. Without the fridge we couldn't even have a cold drink in our room. Also no AC. We deliberately tried to avoid the room as outside was slightly cooler than the room. Also it was next to a car park and extremely noisy at nights. Very disappointed.

The location was perfect, close to the Gare Centrale, and to the shopping area and close to Grand Place and its surroundings, there is a Metro station and buses. We had a family room, everything was clean, specifically the bathroom (I usually judge based on bathrooms). It was a little bit noisy on halls on evening time, but as the family rooms are in a separate aisle it wasn't bothering so much. The area itself was the main issue, there was a lot of homelessness in the nighttime and from the Gare Centrale to the hotel I saw a lot of suspicous people. It was a Sunday, but on our way back on a week day the area was more quiter, but it was quite calm and no one bothered us. It is not the hotel problem, it is the government though.

This hostel is nice and clean. It is not far from the city center (you can reach the Grand Place in about 10 minutes walking) and the Gare du nord. The price is good and the rooms are clean. The staff is nice and helpful. The only cons is that for a few hours during the day you can't access the rooms beacuse of the cleaning service.
