I stayed in a superior twin room beginning of December 2019. The location of this hostel is great: easily accessible to the most popular attraction in the city center and walkable to the train station yet very quiet.
The place was very clean and the beds were comfy even though the room is a bit small. It was fitted with two bookcase style storage units, a built in the wall minifridge and a small desk.
Decent spread of buffet breakfast provided.
They didn’t provide any shampoo or soap, but we had towels. On the other hand, there is no TV in the room 😊

We spent one night at Sleep Well, because we were meeting our friends in Switzerland, and could not stay in Brussels long. It was a great stay. The young people working the front desk were very professional, friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a common luggage room, where one can store their suitcases, and also they have different size lockers that one can use based on availability; one also needs a lock for it, which can be purchased for a very reasonable price of 2.5 Euro, or bring your own. We utilized both of these amenities fully, while walking around the city before check in and after the check out the next day.

With the regular booking, which is also very reasonable, there is a lockout period between 11 am and 3 pm, when guests are not allowed in their rooms. If you are aware of this rule, it is not even an inconvenience; one can be hanging out around the city or have lunch during that time. If you return to the hostel before lockout is completed, there is a lot of comfortable sitting space, where one can wait to get into the room.

The rooms are very clean and modern. There are ample outlets strategically located around the room to accommodate all the charging devices, and we have at least three for each person. The Wi-Fi was good and reliable, the beds comfortable and the bathroom amenities great. We had a triple room with a private bath. My husband and I moved the two twin beds together to have a little more space in the room.

Breakfast was included, and was served from 7 am until 10 am. It got VERY busy close to 10. They had fresh bread, cold cuts, yogurt, salad, eggs and some breakfast meat, as well as tea, coffee and juice. It was a very decent spread for a free breakfast.

The hostel is centrally located. We were able to quickly walk to the center and all the attractions. It was a quiet neighborhood. Overall, very happy with our stay!

What a quaint hostel. I stayed in a mixed room of 6 people for 2 nights with the sole intention to explore Brussels over the bank holiday weekend.

The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable, there was a light and 2no. USB plugs. It was more than adequate for a solo-visit.

To my surprise; breakfast was included! It was a mix of breads, cold meats, eggs (boiled and scrambled), fruit, juice and coffee. For such a decent rate - I would have happily paid extra for this breakfast.

The only negative is that a towel isn’t provided free of charge. However, this is most minimal and expected in most European hostels.. just plan ahead so you’re not caught out!

I enjoyed my stay overall. The hotel is in a good, central location and the rooms are spacious and clean enough. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but I was rudely spoken to twice in a matter of minutes. First, by the staff at breakfast, and second, in an elevator with a member of the cleaning staff. At breakfast, I had no idea you were meant to return the trays at a specific location and I got reprimanded for that. In the elevator, the cleaning staff member wanted me to leave the elevator so he could come in and bring his cleaning trolley into the elevator. It was a weird experience. I rarely write anything negative but I felt like I had to point this out.

This is a brilliant hostel. I stayed here for one night in July to explore Brussels for 2 days.
I stayed in a single room which was clean and very comfortable. The hostel has an excellent location and was near a multitude of sites, shops and places to eat. The breakfast was great and far better than you would expect in a hostel. The only downside is that towels aren't free to use (only 1 euro nevertheless) and also that it got a bit hot, perhaps they could provide fans for an extra charge? Be sure to book in advance for single rooms as they get booked up pretty far in advance - I made my reservation in January for July!

Modern and comfortable hostel in general, perfect for a stay with friends. Breakfast offers some variety, but healthier options such as fresh fruit could be included.
I stayed in a room of 4 and had a private bathroom and shower, but there were also these shared spaces so that everyone could do it at the same time.
Still regarding breakfast, the room where guests sit should be larger.
In general, daily cleaning of rooms should include dusting the closets and not just the floor and changing the trash bag.
The temperature of the rooms should be able to be controlled by guests, as the rooms are very hot and sometimes it becomes unpleasant.

Despite this, I consider the quality/price ratio to be adequate.

This hotel is in a great location to walk in the city center for all sightseeing places. We enjoyed the simple but fresh complimentary breakfast. But without air conditioning in the heatwave was really hard for us to get some good sleep. We preferred not to turn on the big fan because it was too noisy & it could not take away the heat in the room at all (no matter how you put the fan). The street outside was noisy no matter what time it was.
We met some youths who did not know how to use the washer & dryer. Then we ended up spent loooong time for our laundry but still the clothes were not dry.
It was a good deal for the location & breakfast but maybe not good for staying summer time.

This hostel is nice and clean.
It is not far from the city center (you can reach the Grand Place in about 10 minutes walking) and the Gare du nord.
The price is good and the rooms are clean. The staff is nice and helpful.
The only cons is that for a few hours during the day you can't access the rooms beacuse of the cleaning service.

Worst Stay of my life. We had a superior double bedroom. Safe wasn't working, Flush wasn't working, Window blind was broken and left on the floor. They changed our room but second room also had issues. Safe wasn't working and no Fridge. We stayed there for three nights and it was an extremely hot weekend. Without the fridge we couldn't even have a cold drink in our room. Also no AC. We deliberately tried to avoid the room as outside was slightly cooler than the room. Also it was next to a car park and extremely noisy at nights. Very disappointed.

The room were not equipped (no soap, no towels...) but it was clean.Good location and friendly staff. My bad experience was related to the acoustic isolation of walls. It is horrible. We were able to hear everything (words, steps, noises...). I was so mad and furious because I woke up at 3 am because of my neighbors normal discussion.

Hello, last 2 trains are at 23:52 and 00:30. It takes about 15 minutes. I would say it is not dangerous but it's always good to be carrefull. It's about 10 minuts walk. There should be taxi in front of the station, you can also call Ubber. Reception is open 24/24 but don't forgott to send an email to say that you will arrive late. Regards, the reception team.

hello, yes, train is the fastest option to reach Sleep Well. The train station is in the airport. You have to take a train and go out at Brussels North station. (I can not tell you wich train you have to take because many train pass trough Brussels north ( train direction Ostende, Brugges, Midi, ...). The journey takes approximatively 15 minuts and cost 8,80€. From North station to Sleep Well you have to walk approximatively 10 minuts. Hope those information will help you. Regards, Marie-Ange Meere
