I arrived at Hotel Le Chantecler having two valid reservations for 3 people for two nights. I presented the clerk with the printouts of my bookings and also showed them online in my Booking.com application on my mobile phone. The clerk informed me that there is only one double room for max. 1 person available and it is not possible... More

Nice little hotel just a couple of minutes walk from Grand Place. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Towels were replaced daily. Room had a fridge, tv and safe. Considering the hotels very central location the price for the 3 nights was brilliant and the staff were very pleasant and happy to help. Lots of shops, cafes & bars near... More

We booked the hotel for one night, payed in advance, because we had a flight with late arrival in Brussels. The hotel advertises "24hour front desk service". However when we arrived nobody was there. We rang the door bell for minutes, called the phone number given at the door. Knocked on the Windows. Nothing! We thought maybe the receptionist just... More

Very nice small budget hotel. The walls are soundproof. We had had nice king room with private bathroom. Everything was clean, breakfast very good. Close to the main attractions. There is a bar on the corner with live music . You feel like in Paris while listening.

The one and only good thing about this hotel is the staff, friendly, multilingual and very helpful. Unfortunately everything else was diabolical; the room was small and not especially clean. The bathroom was dirty, the sink was falling off the wall and the tap was completely unattached. The premium room reserved for me had the luxury of a bath, which... More

We stayed there only one night during our travelling and it was so good. It is at a little bit noisy place (city cetre - near everything) but we were so tired after walking through the city so we did not mind. We had room 222 - very nice one, black colours. The bathroom was clean, towels and hair drier... More

The room was unbearably noisy. The noise kept me awake until 1 am and woke me up again at 6.30 am. It was stuffy and run down, with a window facing a wall. The Wifi in the room was miserable and the breakfast was scanty (coffee from a thermo, a croissant and not much more). The hotel is close to... More

Inside hotel it smells paint. I needed noseplug. I could not use soap in the shower booth. dryer did not work. I will never use this... More

Arrived at the hotel ok and checked in. Service was pleasant and on entering the room it appeared quite good, but that's when it all went downhill. Decided to take a shower. The hot water started and then slowly stopped. When I went to turn it on a bit more, there was all this brown dirt in the bottom of... More

I think the hotel is very basic, it is close to the centre. But I didn't like that the staff ask for your room key every time you leave the hotel. We wanted to pay with Credit card and were told that the machine would work the next day and it did not. We Heard that the first 2 days... More
