Used as an overnight stop for our holiday. Practical, clean lodge, lack of doors to bathrooms. Arrived around 8pm, and left at 5:30am, so unable to comment on too many aspects, but view from grounds was incredible.

We were staying in Poas Volcano Lodge during green season and it was raining most of the evening and in the am. Hiking was enjoyable in the rain around the property. My friends decided to pay for the volcano hike and they couldn't see a thing. They had a blast otherwise, but the scenery was not worth the cost. It also rained at the waterfall gardens, bring raincoat, and umbrella. I found the waterfall gardens to be to touristy, and didn't care to see animals in cages. Reminds me more of a zoo.
