We were with our daughters to celebrate a birthday and had three rooms in this nice little hotel last Friday. We had dinner and this was really excellent. We enjoyed the Menu Degustation. The owner/cook uses traditional ingredients and his cooking is really of high class. We also took the wine selection, we had a Poeilly Fumé with the first...

A warm welcome which forced us to speak French. Which improved marginally over the day. Room was a bit dated but all are being improved. Evening meal and breakfast were both absolutely great with wonderful service which did again bring our French on no end

I"ve booked out of the blue a 1 night rest in Auberge des cretes. The staff was very friendly. The room were clean and nice but needs an update. It was very quiet at night as the hotel is located in a small farmer village. Breakfast was served personally and from good quality. If you want a warm meal, it's...

A very nice old house, small cosy rooms, with dim light inside to let you rest if that's what you want to do. Run by a family, I believe, they are both extremely welcoming and nice! The dinner at the hotel's resto was mindblowingly-mouthwatering good! In close proximity you have beautiful nature and lovely sights to see - gardens, châteaux,...

We stayed for one night and although our French isn't good and their English was better than our French we communicated ok. Apologies to our breakfast chef, we thought that he had asked if we had enough but was actually asking if we wanted boiled eggs? He was really confused when we refused what he thought we had ordered but...

Despite set menu price of €35 per person, we had ureasonably satisfied by everything. Madame does not speak English, however, we could make right decisio from the...
