We had a very nice room with the river view. We did not have any noise coming from the busy street. We experieced friendly staff and a great overall atmophere. All the little design touches made the difference. The restaurant was small but very cosy, sophisticated food at a reasonable price.

Staff is very willing to help, very nice and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable but not totally sound proof. The bed was very comfy! They do not have parking! There is free street parking, but on the weekend it's hard to find a (narrow) spot. Down town is walking distance, approx 15 minutes. The hotel is nicely situated on...

The Royal Snail Hotel is a small, but nicely furnished and decorated hotel and spa in a good location (in walking distance to the old city of Namur, the Citadelle and the Casino, if one wants to try his/her luck). Breakfast is diy, but very nice with a good selection. There is also a well-stocked and comfortable bar as well...

The rooms were very small and painted black. The shower and bathroom were modern and clean. It was quiet. Not much around. Breakfast in the hotel was 18 euros which seemed excessive. The town wasn't all that far by foot. The was a boulangerie there that was 1/4 the price.

Having stayed at the Ibis on the way to our holiday, we decided to try something different on the way back and the Royal Snail sounded interesting! It's a little bit on the edge of town, and is by the river, though - as another reviewer said, there's a pretty main road between the hotel and the river itself. However,...
