Trelawne, a unique country house hotel, enjoys an unrivaled position with panoramic views of Falmouth Bay over to Rosemullion Headland. The Trelawne offers rooms with fabulous sea views and crisp white linen. Fresh seasonal locally sourced produce is served in our restaurant, which too has fantastic panoramic views. Experience for yourself the peace and tranquility of this unspoilt part of Cornwall, where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the abundance of walks from the hotel and surrounding area. Owned and managed by the Gibbons family for 43 years, we pride ourselves on our friendly service and excellent food. We very much enjoyed our 6-night stay there and hope to return next year. The highlights of our stay were the meals which were always high quality, and the coastal walks which were easily accessible from the hotel.

We are 3 days in to a 5 day stay and are staying in room 10 which has fantastic sea views along the coast. The room itself is very roomy with a double and single bed for our daughter it is very clean and the bathroom is spotless also and with varying toiletries provided as well as tea coffee and hot chocolate. The restaurant area which serves breakfast is also bright and roomy and the breakfasts are lovely with a great choice. The covid 19 rules are well observed with hand sanitiser provided and masks to be worn inside plus tables with distance between, and your room on arrival is your room to keep you safe at all times, if you require house keeping or more supplies to your room you are asked at breakfast and then they are left on your door handle. The location is quiet just a stroll from the south west coastal path which for walkers is great we walked into Falmouth an 11 mile round trip passing some lovely coves and beaches. All in all a superb hotel we would definitely recommend, keep up the good work. Stephen Gaines.

My husband and I stayed here with ilium dogs for 2 nights and had some lovely local walks. The rooms are spacious, beds comfy and rooms stocked up with coffee/tea facilities and biscuits! The breakfasts are plentiful and cooked to perfection. The only negative I have is the price of soda water as it’s in bottles. My husband had a pint of black currant and soda and it was £6.10!!! Avoid the soda water!! Other than that, can’t fault the place.

What a find. Trelawne is situated in a very tranquil location with stunning views. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent. All of the covid rules were adhered to to a T. We felt very safe. We wish the Gibbons family well through this difficult time. We will definitely return.
