Having stayed at the Ter Duinen twice previously (in the mid-1990's) it was the first choice for a weekend in Bruges for the first week of the 2016 Christmas Market. Booked with another couple, we were all impressed with the hotel and staff. Several changes to the building over the years but keeping the family friendly atmosphere. The continental breakfast... My girlfriend and I have just come back from a few days in Bruges. And we stayed at this hotel and it was brilliant. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was immaculate and very comfortable. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the main city square and is very quiet and beautiful part of... Lovey, friendly comfortable hotel. Ideal location, close enough to shops etc. (15 mins walk), but far enough to be nice and quiet. Superb breakfast service, one of the better Continental breakfasts I have had - beautifully fresh.

I would highly recommend this hotel! From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to pull up outside the hotel and unload our bags before parking the car in a private garage provided by the hotel a few Meters from the hotel itself. We were then given a little history about the hotel... More

Stayed at this friendly hotel on a flying visit to Bruges and very pleased with it. Location is great, a short walk from the centre, meaning a tranquil location away from the crowds. Great rooms overlooking the canal and the breakfast lives up to the hype!

Very well furnised, beautiful channel view, easy transportation, romatic and very warm welcome. My wife found this hotel via internet and forced me to change my previous choice. I am very happy to follow her insist. Mrs and Mr. Bossu perfectly welcomed us in their very beautifully decorated house, I call it a house because it is really so.

A very pleasant spacious room. Comfortable and quiet at the back of the hotel. Service was a bit too attentive for our liking as we would prefer to be left to ourselves, but overall it was a good place to stay

This was our second trip to this lovely family hotel, Bruges is one of our favourite European destinations, we go for short trips at least twice a year, and now we have found this super hotel, we will not bother trying any other. All the staff are very friendly and smile all the time, nothing is too much trouble. There... More

Four night half term break with my husband and two children, We chose the hotel because of the Trip Advisor reviews and were delighted that we did! We stayed in room 40 which is a family room with four single beds, two of which had been thoughtfully pushed together for my husband and me. Not a perfect set up for... More

Excellent hotel. Very clean with a good buffet breakfast. Contemporary style but with old charm including open fire in the breakfast room. Very friendly and helpful hotel owners who have some good suggestions for dinner.
