The hotel is an oasis in a beautiful medieval city that doesn't have much greenery (but that is nevertheless beautiful). It is a handy short walk from the train station, so not too much straining with the luggage, and because it on at the limit of the park that separates the modern from the medieval, it is very peaceful and... We were absolutely thrilled to find this delightful small hotel with a park setting in Bruges. We had a ground floor room that opened out to the park. Everything is close by and a quick walk. So nice to be able to come back to the hotel during the day to change clothes or shoes. The staff was wonderful and... More

Despite booking on-line several weeks ago we arrived at the hotel to find it locked up, and when we tried to phone, their phone appeared to have been disconnected. Eventually managed to get in at another nearby hotel where the receptionist told us that Hotel Egmond had gone bust 3 days earlier. Unfortunately they hadn't bothered to contact us, or... More

Clean, comfortable, cute and direct access to the city center. Staff was friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of space for walking and drinks on the patio. Parking was free and accessible. We are used to American style breakfast, so we weren't overly impressed with the continental, but we had hot coffee. We will stay again!

This is a quaint and quite well run B&B in a great location. Its quiet near a beautiful park and canal. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and have so much character because its 200 years old!

The hotel was a complete surprise! Rounded the corner to the parking and entrance and entered another time! The hotel was re-furbished with a good bathroom and beds. The breakfast was very good. The location was fantastic! Walk a 1/2 block and you are over the canal and in old Trier. Walk to the canal and watch the tour taxi... More

Perfect location in quiet corner of busy Bruges, near restaurants, canals and the Beguinhaus. Walk a bit to the church (Michelangelo's Madonna) and Town Square. Upstairs room with twin beds had view of city rooftops on one side and the quiet courtyard/car park on the other. Comfortable, not as decorated as lower floors. Very good breakfast in dining area with wood... More

A beautiful hotel, in a building that's 200+ years old and has loads of character and charm. We were very well looked after during our stay here. A beautiful, well-appointed room, great service, good breakfasts, a lovely garden to sit in and enjoy the great weather, a spacious car park - everything was great. Even a building this old can... This boutique hotel is a wonderful, fairly-priced perfect place to stay in one of Europe's most beautiful small cities. The fact that hotels from Paris to Amsterdam and Brussel's promote tours here says volumes. The canal tours are great and the shops in town, a short stroll away are delightful.

Lovely country style hotel with parking nearby. Really nice manor style with uniqe rooms. helpful Staff and good breakfast. Love the athmosphere. Room were very damp, proably to the extensive raining during our stay so our clothes did not dry. Recommended for the athmosphere, will most probably return.
