A really friendly chummy atmosphere welcomed us at this hostel - we met great people and the 5 euro pizza at the bar really hit the spot. A hot shower and a hair dryer also didn't go astray…. Some little niggles though to warn about… the smell was extraordinarily bad one morning when we woke to what seemed to be...

Overall a great location, very easy walk to the main town squares! Wifi only worked in the reception/common area, but worked quite well. Our room had a slightly funny smell.. but looked clean and the beds were comfy. The staff were super friendly and helpful :-)

I was hesitant to give St Christophers Bauhaus a 4 out of 5 as there was a few aspects of our stay that definitely was not good, but I think that the good aspects outweighed the bad. The location was good, it's about a 15 minutes walk from the train station on a rather quiet road, and surrounded by some...

I have stayed in sone pretty average hostels but this was by far the worst of the lot. I am a big advocate of you get what you pay for. Here you paid a lot for 1 shower for over 30 people on the floor above the bar. You got dirty sheets and unmade beds after you have checked in...

My partner & I stayed at 7 hotels over the course of 13 days during our trip & this hostel had BY FAR the best staff. Not to mention the best drink specials which included 2 for 1 liquor/beer & 1 euro shots. Aside from the excellent bar scene I would suggest that you stay at this hostel because the...

Short walk into town and far enough out that it is away from the busy parts of town. We stayed in a private room in the adjoining building that only had 3 rooms with a shared bathroom and shared common room with kitchen. Although it was basic our stay was pretty comfortable. It is an old building so the sound...

I had a great time here! The location is perfect. They have tons of rental bikes for cheap, be sure to rent one and get lost in this beautiful city! However this hostel is not super clean. And it doesn't smell great either. If this is important to you stay somewhere else. I managed to enjoy my stay, but I...

My reserved bed was given away by time I arrived at the hostel and a mattress was put on the floor in a room for me to sleep on. There is no room to put a towel or your clothes in the shower stall as you literally open the door and are IN the shower. This makes it a bit...
