Value
The ideal spot for getting to know Bruges and its inhabitants. Recommended by "The Rough Guide" and "Le Guide du Routard". Karel will give you a friendly welcome to the charming family hotel "De Goezeput," located in an 18th century monastery. He recently renovated the ground floor to create a modern bar-salon where the local inhabitants of Bruges also like to drop in for a drink and a chat. We will offer you a pleasant stay and warm hospitality in a delightful setting. The hotel is situated in the historic center between the Cathedral and the Our Lady Church, just a 5 minutes walk from the Market Square and close to all the main touristic spots and museums of Bruges. It is the perfect base for exploring all aspects of the city of which we are so proud. - Modern lounge with cosy fireplace - Terrace - Free internet + Wireless LAN - All rooms have television and a private bathroom with toilet and shower. - Children under the age of 3 stay for free in their parents room. Bar: Monday - Thursday open until 9 pm Friday and Sunday 11 pm Saturday evening closed. PARKING: you can park the car in the guarded parking which is situated to the left of the front of the railway station. Cost: 3.50 Euro/24h. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the station.

This small privately-run hotel is like a boutique hotel: the 15 rooms are individually & tastefully decorated around the old wooden beams and corners which come with the historic building. There is aircon, a kettle and a hairdryer available. The bed was very comfy and I slept very well. Everything is spotlessly clean.
The owner makes a great effort to be there personally and engages in chats as well giving advice on excursions and other activities. She took particular care of COVID-19 implemented rules regarding desinfection.
The hotel is located a 5min walk from the railway station as well as from the historic city centre.
Breakfast was served individually and covered varioys types of bread, muesli, joghurt, chocolate pudding, cheeses, cold cuts, jams, coffee/tea and juice.
I loved the relaxed atmosphere and personal service!

This lovely hotel has only 15 rooms which are decorated thoughtfully and tastefully in a modern way around the old structures and wooden beams. The lady who is running the hotel takes good and very personal care of her customers, having a chat and providing good advice for things to do. In these corona times she follows the strict desinfection protocol and tries to give her guests a feeling of safety.
The bed was very comfy and the bath (despite being tiny due to the old building’s limits) was modern and had a well pressurised shower (hairdryer provided).
Breakfast was a delight and served individually.
I really enjoyed my stay in this little jewel of a hotel which is a 2min walk from the sights of Brugge.

This small hotel is a very good choise and value for money in the historic center of Brugge. Staff is very welcoming and polite and very accomodating to the client's needs. There is a choise between more basic, but good value for money rooms to comfortable doubles with all amenities. If you want something quite, clean, simple, with an artistic touch in the bar and common areas, then this is a great choise in Brugge! Thank you Benedict for your smiles and help.

Stayed for four nights in this small and very good value for money hotel in lovely Bruges. Less than 1 km from the train station, and therefore easily reachable by foot. (However, the cobble stoned streets makes the luggage transport more difficult). The hotel has an excellent location close to most main sights and also close to the city centre. The room I stayed in on the upper floor had a beautiful vaulted ceiling, very decent size and beautiful views overlooking Sint-Salvatorskathedral. A decent breakfast was included. Recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Goezeput! We arrived around midday and went to ask if it would be possible to store our bags. The lady on reception said that our room (Room 1) was ready, and we could check in, if we wished.
We were given a spacious room on the ground floor. Our room looked out onto the quiet street out front, and was super spacious. The hotel is on a quiet street, and we didn’t have any trouble with noise.
The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was small, but serviceable, with a really powerful shower.
We booked with the hotel, so breakfast was included. Each morning with had a bread basket brought to our a table, with a selections of cold cuts and cheeses. There was a buffet with eggs, fruit, cereals, etc, where guests could help themselves.
Staff were friendly and helpful and helped make our first visit to Bruges wonderful.
The train station was about half a mile from the hotel, and the Market Square was about 5 mins away. We’d definitely return, and recommend the hotel to others!

We had two rooms for 2 nights at the beginning of December, very well priced at an expensive time of year to stay in Bruges. Room 8 is compact but functional, room 3 is much larger and bright.
Friendly, warm welcome, paid extra to have breakfast which is great and good value.
This hotel has a perfect location, character and we will definitely return again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this cute little inn. The place couldn't have been cuter and the staff couldn't have been nicer! It's an old monastery that has been converted into an inn. I stayed on the top floor. There isn't an elevator and the stairs are steep but you get high ceilings, beautiful wood beams in the room, and a view of the street and rooftops. The room was more than adequate with a big comfortable bed, a small table and chairs, in room coffee maker, TV, and small modern private bathroom. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

Brilliant location and brilliant breakfast!!
Very nice looking interior.
Negative - very small room and bathroom, sink in the room which was not ideal. Opening doors and walking around each other was a challenge. Walls a bit thin and floors loud - think we woke most people up leaving early one day...
It was a good choice for a few nights, would recommend going for a bigger room size if staying longer (the rooms under the roof look lovely and big on the pictures)

Great stay, great location. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were so pleasant but clear and cosy! The best thing about this place is its location, close to the main market, parking T,sand, and the local supermarket. Worth a try!
