Hotel Groeninghe was fantastic. Of all the boutique hotels and B&B's that we've stayed in over the years, this was the BEST. 12 minute walk to the main square. 3.50 euro daily parking at the train station, also as 12 minute walk. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants close by. 5 minute walk to the closest boat tour stop. Clean,... More

Hotel Groeninghe is a cozy hotel located very nicely in between the train station (10 min walk) and the city center (5-10 min walk). The Twin Bed room are small but "efficient" with a nice bathroom. Good breakfast with standard offering. A nice lounge with couch and table for the group to sit down and enjoy. The staff was very... More

The location of the hotel is very good, between the city center and the train station. The hosts are super friendly (communicating in three different languages), our beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and plenty. We would stay at the Groeninghe Hotel again

We stayed in Brugge for the Bank Holiday weekend in May and had booked Hotel Groeninghe via Booking.com. The location is great and within walking distance of the train station, the Saturday market and the city centre. All within a 10 min walk. Room was comfortable and the matress on the bed superb! I have a hollow back and hotel... More

We booked this hotel due to its location and reasonable price for that city and it did not disappoint. We booked it with our eyes open and having read much on trip advisor. Its an easy walk from the train station and an easy stroll to the center. The hotel appears to have 4 rooms on each floor with the... More

Partially clean, it stinks inside the hotel. Bed is not comfortable, everything is old and used for centuries. Hostel is next door and it's noisy. Hotel is over rated and over priced. Find something better, cleaner and cheaper

At least our sixth or seventh return visit to this lovely family run hotel. We visit every December and this is really home from home for us. The hotel is a beautiful old town house beautifully decorated esp at Christmas. Breakfast is always great with lots of fresh fruits meats cheeses, homemade jams and daily homemade bread and copious amounts... More

Spent two nights here, loved the room, we were up the very top (3rd floor) which did mean lots of stairs but very worth the walk up with the view out of our room. Great location right in the old city. Breakfast was fantastic as was our host. Highly recommend!
