Our daughter bought us a break in Bruges for Christmas including 3 night stay in the hotel. Lovely first impression, nice reception area really helpful check in including where to go, and lovely cosy bar, and great location. Room was large and very pretty with generous en-suite, and very quiet, it had everything but the view. Such a shame, would...

Calm atmosphere. Beautiful cosy lounge area with a fireplace, where you can relax with a glass of wine or food even at 2 am. Late night staff was especially accommodating. Breakfast setup is somewhat unusual, where it feels like you are going to their kitchen, however the diversity of breakfast items is more than satisfactory. Breakfast staff could use a...

We were in the Tuilerieen for a night. The welcome was perfect. Our room beautiful and quiet. So we were very happy. But then the next morning every thing went down the drain. 40 seats in the breakfast room. No food left at 1030, breakfast is served until 1100. Table were not cleared after previous guests and we had to...

Good first. The hotel location is excellent but then again most are in Bruges. The bedroom assigned was very nice and quiet. at the back of the hotel even though facing flats and car park. Now the negatives which sadly outweighed the good. The swimming pool was freezing cold and you had to pay an addition €10 to use the...

The hotel is a 500 year old building so expect some quirky details. Our room waz on the third floor and was massive for just two of us. The bed could sleep a small family. We woke each day to the lovely sound of bells from surrounding churches. The small snug bar was great for a wee drink at the...

We decided to visit Bruges for three days following our long flight to Europe and prior to our Rhine riverboat cruise. It couldn't have been a better choice and the hotel and staff were just what we needed. The location is central and we were on the front side. The noise was present but did not stop us from having...

We stayed in room 131, very nice (a bit small compared to the others I saw on the pictures, especially since we had a babay cot), but feeling full of history with a huge fire place and view on the canal. Bedding was great and bathroom nice. Only issue was the awful sewerage smell coming from the bathroom. I told...

A very smart looking hotel, amazing cosy bar ( see photo) and wonderful staff. Our room was really modern, which was a little disappointing because everything else was so old world and other worldly. But it was really comfortable and had a tv that rose out of the bed!

The Hotel is in a great location for exploring the old part of Bruges. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a lovely view of the canal. Bathroom fittings showed signs of wear. Reading other reviews of the fantastic and friendly staff we thought perhaps we had gone to the wrong Hotel! We found the staff stand-offish and had...

Stayed 2 nights visiting Bruges. We were greeted by 2 excellent front office staff. Although a big hotel there are not a lot of front of house staff but Nicholas and his colleague was reception, bar tender and porter and concierge !! Both did an admirable job and check in was seamless. We had a beautifully appointed room, spacious, clean...
