From easy communication with Tania to the spacious room, the filling breakfast (freshly baked croissant and fresh fruit and juice, loads of toast/bread and eggs) and the great location this place has to be on your list when staying in Brugge. 30 minutes walk from train station, 10-15 minutes from all places of interest and a wide variety of restaurants close by. Excellent tourist information area in entrance lobby. Not cheap but definitely excellent value. Watch out Tania we could be back to sample Brugge at Christmas!!!!

Number 11 is in a perfect location to set out on foot to everything you would want to see in Bruges. We interacted with Tania the two days and nights we were there. Tania noticed our preferences during breakfast on the first day and modified our breakfast on the second day accordingly. That was a thoughtful touch. She answered all of our questions and gave us good ideas of what to see and do. We stayed in the Vanilla room, which had a lovely view and a well-equipped private bathroom. It also had the benefit of being only one flight of stairs up, which is something to consider with luggage.

We visited Bruges to meet up with friends who recommended that we stay at Number 11.

Number 11 is a very well appointed building centrally located in the heart of Bruges. An easy walk from all the principal attractions in this historic city.

Local knowledge paid off as we had an outstanding room and breakfast served by a very friendly and personable hostess.

The location is excellent. Th B&B has no parking but there are plenty of parking slots in the surroundings. The house is cozy and you can actually feel like in home. The breakfast is good, but not very diverse. Perhaps the only thing is that due to the pandemic, cleaning in the rooms is done only every second day. This would have to be said initially

The accommodation is in a great central location, you can walk to everything, which for us was a must for a short trip. Parking: we simply unloaded everything beforehand and then parked nearby, if you know, absolutely no problem.
The house itself: a jewel! You feel like you are coming home. It is personal, cozy and homely, you are welcomed like a family member. You also feel at breakfast, everything is lovingly prepared, extra requests are also not a problem. I can only recommend Number 11, just great!

This is the third time we have stayed here, and is our favourite place to stay. We always book the Suite overlooking the beautiful tranquil garden - where we can sit outside and have our breakfast in the sun. It is close to everything, 5 minute stroll to the Market Square, and just far enough out that it is peaceful and relaxing. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you, which makes staying here a lovely experience. The breakfast is a perfect start to the day, lovely breads, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and fresh eggs cooked to your liking. Lovely little touches in the rooms - toiletries, dressing gown, slippers, bottled water by the bed. I would however prefer slightly larger bath towels. I am used to wrapping myself up in a large bath sheet at home so found them to be a little on the small side for me personally. We will definitely be making a return visit as this place is perfect for a relaxing weekend in Bruges

I love Bruges! Once upon a time I lived in Belgium and visited Bruges often. to add to its special place in my heart, twenty five years ago my husband proposed to me by one of the canals there, and this was our first return trip (yes we are still together!)
The B&B is in a perfect quiet, yet very central, location. Couple of minutes walk to the main square and easy walking distance to all Bruges has to offer.
We had a room at the top of the house. It was stunning with a vaulted and beamed ceiling. The room was spacious and very functional and packed with charm and character. It had all the amenities needed for any traveller.
Breakfast was a communal affair which was a great opportunity to chat and share information and experiences with the other handful of guests. The breakfast itself was of a very high standard and was plentiful (fresh fruit/fresh fruit juice/pastries/cheeses/ham/eggs etc). This was a great start to each day.
Our host was charming, helpful and knowledgeable. She has a wonderful dry sense of humour which was great.
I had planned to stay in one of the well established and charming old hotels, but i
am so glad that I didn't. Number 11 is like being a guest in an authentic townhouse, and a very beautiful one at that.
If you have mobility issues, then as with many Flemish houses the staircases are steep, but the climb to our bedroom in the rafters was worth it. Highly recommended

Beautiful guesthouse. All the rooms have sort of a local antique character: simple but beautifully decorated and SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. Breakfast can be as light or full as you want. The guesthouse is conveniently positioned so that walking to local attractions is easy and fun.

The managers/hosts are helpful in all ways - restaurant recommendations, arranging reservations for restaurants, taxis, or attractions, special breakfast requests, directions to attractions or events, tips on local culture, and more...

A traveler tip: Although many of these historical buildings have been refurbished, adding modern conveniences while maintaining old world charm, some buildings might be challenging to those with mobility issues. To that point, #11 exclusive Guesthouse has rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, requiring climbing a rather daunting staircase. None of the guests had any difficulty. My husband and I are senior citizens ages 73 and 84, and we stayed in the Chocolate Room (located on the top floor). We had no trouble. However, if stairs are a concern, one room is located on the 1st floor where no stairs are involved.

We had a wonderful time. This guesthouse is a hidden gem.

We spent five wonderful days here. The staff, Tania and Murielle, are very friendly and extremely concerned about the well-being of their guests. The breakfast was delicious, varied and diverse (e.g. there was a different small fruit salad every day). The coffee (French press) was also great! The B&B is in a perfect location (close to the center but still quiet, no through traffic and no loud crowds of tourists outside the windows). The rooms are clean and, like the whole house, lovingly and tastefully decorated. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at number 11 , perfect location to the main square and lovely setting. We were met by Murielle who speaks fantastic English and was able to give us an idea of where and what to see. We stayed in the chocolate room which was clean, spacious but still cosy and exactly what we wanted. Breakfast was served at a sensible time (9-10) , fresh bread , fruit, ham/cheeses, pastries and eggs however you wanted them.
We felt comfortable at the house , as masks were worn unless eating, by guests and staff.
10/10 , would highly recommend
