A nice and warm place near Brugges. Everyone were really kind. Since the building is an old village house it can gives you some troubles. Stairs are to norrow. You should be carrefull while step on. Don't expect highend tv and hotel systems. This is a boutique village hotel. There are electeical heaters in the room and bathroom. You can...

Back into last century, in a historic mansion filled with antiques and family owned furniture. Tremendous welcome by owners, willing to help and discreetly assisting. Plunge into the heart of Flanders and its locals at the warm bar, and sleep in old fashioned rooms with cracking floors, the real natural way, but wi-fi connected and with modern bathrooms, reminding us...

The staff are so respectful, kind and caring at this hotel. The breakfast, and the room it was served in, was really beautiful. We left a parcel behind that was very special to us, and they hung onto it and mailed it to us, too. We will return!

The room they gave us was quite different from what we saw at the website. The heating inside the room was not working and the proprietors said: "It takes some time". In the next morning we mentioned that the heating did not work at all during the night and they really didn't mind at all. The proprietor told me as...

Drove past this gorgeous building with no booking (it was Thursday so we were lucky) and turned straight around to look for a room. The owners were friendly and the hotel oozes old world charm, just what we were looking for in an overnight stay on a European drive holiday! The room was great and quiet, the breakfast in the...

These are the facts: 1. I booked three rooms. 2.On arrival we were offered two rooms ( two keys) 3. One room was a family room with a shared bathroom and an adjoining door 4. We are not a family and this was entirely inappropriate. There was no apology for this. 5. Neither the booking firm nor the hotel tried...

This was a total disappointment and a terrible experience. When we arrived at the hotel, their reception personnel said that they received the fax from Travelocity, but that they did not have an agreement with Travelocity and therefore the reservation was not honored. The receptionist was not helpful under this situation to even try to help us find an alternate...

We stayed here for 3 nights and thought we had best leave a review. Overall the hotel is nice, and the owners lovely. The car park can get quite full so perhaps bear this in mind. The hotel does have some fairly narrow stairs which were no problem at all but I can imagine somebody with mobility problems to struggle....

I spent one night there. Pros: perfect and comfortable bed, tasty breakfast. Cons: all the other - many negatives. The lady at the desk doesn´t speak English. The stairs to the first floor are extremely narrow and uncomfortable - not easy to bring the suit case upstairs and almost impossible to bring it downstairs again. If you meet and older...
