Stayed here for 4 nights with National Holidays and stayed in Room 302 which was 'Business Class'. I'm not sure which bit was business class as you could not get wi fi in the room but it did have a side sea and beach view with a small balcony. It also had a superking size bed that was comfortable, handwash...

There’s a lot to be said for the Royal Astor, and after reading so many reviews here you might be forgiven for thinking that lots of people have said they don’t think very highly of it. I thought the same, but then I went there myself, and I also met a lot of others who had been going back there...

Spent 2 days as part of a coach tour and was pleasantly surprised with the great organisation in this hotel. Although the corridors within the hotel were a little clinical (actually bare) the rooms were spotlessly clean. Unfortunately there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms as this is not the custom in Belgium. I would suggest...

Basic but clean and spacious rooms. Restaurants staff are warm and friendly. Hotel has a pool and is right next to the sea front, excellent place to be as central to everything. Food is fine, help yourself breakfast. All hot and very nice.

We stayed for a weekend last week, lovely hotel, staff very nice. We were on a bed and breakfast deal but they do half board. Between the promenade and city centre its ideally placed. For those who enjoy water there is a very nice indoor pool also. I enjoyed this hotel so much I've booked to go back in December.

Not at all nice! We changed rooms three times and each time the room was the same crap standard. The bar and restaurant were adorned with flies. Really disappointed. Wouldn't go to that hotel again. It was like something out of AHS.

I was at this hotel as part of a National Holidays package and stayed for three nights on a half board basis. The hotel had a very poor frontage and gives a very wrong impression of what it has to offer. Inside, although in parts dated, the hotel was clean and the staff were very good. The food was good,...

This is a decent hotel in the budget price bracket. Staff are ok and do a lot of work between them. We spent 4 nights here with national holidays which are our main coach choice. Evening meal can be viewed as a little random. You don't get a choice it's mainly a form of meat , veg and potatoes /...

Went to the Royal Astor with Edwards coaches on 5th of September. On arrival went to reception there was no welcome, no porterage, just told what room we were in and given the card to enter your room. There was a lift to the floor but too many waiting so decided to walk up the stairs. What a shock to...
