I really loved my first visit to Quinta dos Amarelos, so I had to go there with my 2 year old, specially because he loves a good pool, and in Quinta dos Amarelos, you have a huge pool, but also a small one for the kids. I just love that relaxing sensation, and the fact that you can choose from cooking, to grab your car and drive for 20 minutes (either way) and have one of the best meals of your life, or you can just enjoy the Club House Restaurant, which serve typical regional food, which is just amazing. I also love to wake up, and find my self in the middle of the Portuguese Country Side with horses walking around eating, and minding their own business. I will be back for sure.

Six or seven houses scattered in a beautiful rural landscape. Large shared swimming pool, private barbecue in each house. Very nice management . Very peaceful and friendly environment. Loved it! Been there twice and will be back for sure!

Quinta dos Amarelos is a great place to relax. This is not a ordinary hotel, this is a big rural propriety like a ranch. There are no surrounding buildings, this place is situated just in the midle of the Alentejo montado. Around there are only sobreiros, cows and sheeps. You can stay on one of the "Montes" designation for a small individual house in Alentejo. The house has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and family room with a sofa that can be converted to a double bed. Outside of your individual house there is a deck, with a barbecue, outside table with 4 chairs. The view is amazing, the quitness is total. In the midle of this propertie there is 2 swimming pools one for children and one for adults, with lots of space, shades and chairs for everyone. There is a club house where you can watch tv or play pool, cards or other types of games. Also you can horse ride, play tennis or soccer in a grass field, rent a motor bike or a bike, take you children in a ponny ride. Great place to be very recommended

This is one of the best place I have been to, you have lots of privacy, and lots os activities that you can choose from, like Quads, horseback riding (Including ponei for kids), Kart Cross, and so on. Great restaurants nearby where you can have a taste of tipical portuguese food. And the price is very good for the service provided.

"All rooms (in this case a one Monte Bungallows) are similar, but if you are travelling with children, do choose a Bungallow closest to the Club House, because you will also be closer to the pool, so therefore easier to get there with the kids. Even though you´ll be nearer to the pool you will not be bothered by any noise coming from the pool, because the distance is just right. All the staff is Lovely, Senhor António (Mister António) remembered me from my last visit, and spent a few minutes speaking with me, and trying to get my 2 year old on a horse. The Housemaids are very friendly, and so are the Reception Staff."
