Cannot fault this hotel; the rooms were huge and well maintained, lovely balcony overlooking gardens. Great breakfast if a little confusing with regard to Covid restrictions. Evening entertainment was good but no dancing - not sure if this was the hotel rule or disinclination by the guests! The pool and surrounding gardens was really beautiful and well kept with a little river stocked with Koi Carp. There is a brilliant Indian restaurant just down the steps near the hotel and lots of other little bars and restaurants close by (try the one on the right down the steps for lunch or a drink). You can walk to the beach, about 30mins or there is a free shuttle bus. The 6 euro shuttle bus to Albufeira is well worth it for a day out as the hotel is nowhere near Albufeira!

We were originally due to visit in July to celebrate our 40th Wedding anniversary but had to cancelled due to covid but were finally able to go in September. We found all the measures that the hotel had put in place was excellent. Everywhere was cleaned to a high standard, all the staff wore masks at all times and all guests did too. Some of the sun beds and umbrellas had been removed to allow for social distancing around the pool and there were plenty of sun beds available in the grounds. Any sun beds that were empty were regularly sprayed . The restaurant was still a buffet service but you were served by the staff instead of serving yourself. Tables were only laid up when you chose a table to ensure cleanliness. There was no gold activities but still entertainment with local acts, we particularly enjoyed the traditional Portuguese songs. My wifep had had some mobility problems but the staff couldn't do enough to help especially in the restaurant. We felt safer here then in many places back home. The only drawback was having to self isolate on our return due to the air corridor changing

We have just returned from two weeks at this hotel , although we now have to quarantine for 2 weeks as gov changed guide lines whilst we were there ! I was nervous about going abroad and I couldn’t have been made to feel more safe ? ! Masks were worn by staff and guests all the time when walking round the hotel and as other people have said in revues the restaurant was ran so efficiently!! Sun beds cleaned and spaced ( although I did notice a few groups moving nearer to each other !!!! ) Food amazing Went out one night to a Portuguese restaurant ( Tigi Costa ?! Or something like ) it was awful AVOID !! Rooms so clean ! We over looked the garden and was so peaceful ! We were supposed to go to Spain and was cancelled due to covid and landed up here , but what a great holiday ! Big shout out to the waiters they were so brilliant and vigilant on making sure all guests wore masks and gloves 👏🏾👏🏾 The guy who ran the out side part of the restaurant ( sorry don’t know name ) was fab , friendly and funny ... especially when he was chasing the seagull that tried to pinch people’s breakfast 😂

We have visited the hotel many times, we were so happy that we were finally able to visit again when the travel corridor was put in place. The hotel staff have worked tirelessly to put all the Covid measures in place and it was all spot on. We felt safer here than the UK. Masks are worn by all the staff, guests wear masks inside the hotel unless eating or drinking.. The reception staff are always there to answer any questions you may have. At the present time the restaurant staff serve you the hot food behind a screen, salad bar etc is self service, sanitizer and gloves are to be worn during this time. Tables are socially distanced, drinks served at the table as always. Plenty of sunbeds, again socially distanced, outside pool open all the time during our stay, indoor pool is now open, you have to book a slot which is not a problem. The spa is open, the massages are fantastic. Supermarkets open, face masks to be worn. Erva Dolce cafe is a must, coffee, pastel da Nata, toastier etc, excellent. Walked through Pine Cliffs hotel to the beach, had temperature taken as you enter. The hotel also have a free shuttle bus to the beach. Even though the government changed the travel corridor during our stay, we continued our holiday and even booked another week. All in all, Carlos and his staff have done brilliant job and can’t thank them enough.
