Small friendly adult only hotel. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Selection of food each evening was amazing with specials each day and the overall dining service was excellent. Clientele was older than expected mid October but I understand this does change throughout the season. We prefer all inclusive hotels as find it more relaxing throughout knowing you have paid for everything but would go again. Be nice if the hotel went all inclusive or at least considered it an option for anyone wanting it.

My wife and I become first acquainted with the Falesia Hotel via Tripadvisor where it is listed Number 1 of 152 Hotels in the Albufeira area . We were greatly impressed with the photos of the gardens and private areas in such beautiful surroundings . We booked via Jet2 . Long before our holiday was due to begin I contacted the hotel by telephone and spoke to' Eugenio' at reception . Eugenio was amazing and was able to explain so much about the hotel, location, facilities and particular help with directions as we were renting a car at the Airport and his easy to follow advice and guidance was such a help. It's not an over statement to say that we had become friends on the phone long before arrival . My wife & I were celebrating our 50th year together and we wanted somewhere with the qualities of peaceful surroundings, private spaces to relax and unwind and clean comfortable accommodation and of course Breakfasts and Dinner of quality . On arrival, we were greeted by Eugenio our friend who happened to be on Reception duty. 'Check In' took a new experience for my wife and I . Eugenio, was impeccable with time, attention to explain the hotel areas and a courtesy token for our 'Welcome Drink'. We had booked a top floor Junior Suite . We were not disappointed . In fact it was much more than we expected . The cleanliness of the accommodation and all of the hotel facilities both inside and Pool and gardens is exceptional . The housekeeping team do a great job and we must thank Odete and Essa{Excuse spelling) for looking after our Suite so well. The garden areas with a beautiful garden river and bridges where private quiet spaces were found to enjoy such peaceful calm. Of course the central strength of the Falesia is the wonderful staff like Carolina in the Restaurant all of whom are so friendly and helpful . The Pools both inside and outside are a credit to management and staff . The Falesia is a location to choose for quality dining, Peaceful Surroundings and unique kind staff . To Eugenio and all staff, Thanks again .

Superb hotel - spotlessly clean, great staff and amazing food. We tried the tasting menu one night, oh my goddess it was superb- a fantastic experience - Phillipe the waiter is a diamond- a credit to the hotel! The hotel itself is a little isolated but runs daily transport to the beach and local tourist attractions. Outdoor pool is fantastic and for the cloudy days there is an indoor pool, spa, jacuzzi and steam room - outside tennis courts and a table tennis table by the pool. Sky tv for the footy in the bar area and live entertainment most nights. Definitely a 4* hotel - an excellent break in an amazing hotel

We visited the restaurant to try Chef Alexandre's 9 course tasting menu. It is outstanding and I highly recommend it, the food is delicious and beautifully executed with new ideas and flavours. It is mostly based on fish and seafood with a 3 part meat section. Alexandre is a very promising and dedicated young chef and I can't wait for his next venture.

We had a great time, the hotel is everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Arrived at 12:00, our room wasn’t ready, but offered an alternative at €20 extra which we happily agreed to pay, found out later that several others did a similar deal? I was a little suspicious, but hey we were happy with the room. The food was brilliant in the main restaurant for breakfast and evening meals and the staff were very helpful. However, the same can’t be said for the room service or bar food services, the burgers were not cooked properly and the chicken turned out to be chicken bits with lots of bones and little meat. it wasn’t a good experience, sadly. However, we complained at the time so hopefully it’s soon addressed! There was plenty of musical entertainment each night, with a good variety of music. The hotel was clean and beautifully set, outside swimming pool and an indoor pool with spa and sauna. Access to beaches were a short walk or there was the hotel shuttle service. Taxis were cheap via Uber.

Had the most lovely holiday thanks to everyone at the hotel. Breakfast in the gardens was fab! Dinner had lots of choice. We tried the tasting menu. Really impressed with food and service. Our room was comfortable and lovely views. Weather was amazing for October and it was lovely to sit by the pool. The indoor spa was such a treat, the pool was lovely and warm. Thanks to everyone for a great hols! Shirley and Ian xxx

The hotel is in a strange location. It is kept very clean, both inside and poolside/gardens, likewise also the bedrooms . Staff are very friendly, with the exception of some of reception. We booked a suite - described as all having garden views - ours overlooked the delivery bay and bin store, with a side view of the adjacent driving range. At times it was quite noisy with deliveries. Thankfully we didn’t spend too much time on our balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable, but with only the barest of toiletries - ie shower gel, shampoo and a small tablet of soap. For a 4* hotel, usually there are tissues, body lotions etc. felt they were too many cost cutting features. A Hospitality tray is provided, with tea and coffee, if you needed more than supplied you would have to pay €5 for it. Likewise if you wanted a glass of ice there was a charge. On arrival we arrived around noon, at the time we had advised, and understood the room may be available. It was available, but if we wanted to go in before 2pm there was a charge of €10 per hour……… and although we were leaving early as we had advised when booking, at 8.30am and check out was 12noon, Felt that this hotels intention was to make money on the slightest thing………we didn’t have the mini bar, despite there being a fridge in the room. Restaurant - quality of food was good however - Vegetarian choices very poor, beautiful salads available but all had meats or fish added. Pizza was always available but with meat or fish toppings, when I asked would it be possible to have plain Margarita, was told No. We did raise the issue in the restaurant, but we were directed to go to reception to raise the issue there, eventually the male receptionist reluctantly did pass on our complaint about lack of choice. The following evening there was a noticeable increase in choice, sadly that was the one good night, the following nights reverted back to little choice.Deserts always plenty to choose from, however it was a bit of a lottery choosing something that would be suitable for vegetarians, as despite naming of each dessert and if they contained milk, eggs or nuts, non were marked V or Ve, which also applied to all the food served, which is normal practice. Entertainment in the evening was mixed; the Bar staff were always very pleasant, friendly and provided good service. All in all, made the most of our stay, however having been so disappointed with the food issue, do not intend staying there again.

Response from Carlos Franco, Diretor-Geral at Falésia Hotel - Adults Only
Responded 4 weeks ago
Dear sirs, I am sorry to see that we have not managed to make your stay the most enjoyable one. It is very disappointing to learn that one of the points is also location, which means that very little research has been done before arriving to the destination. It is very easy to work out the location from the description of the hotel. Although I am very pleased to see that there are quite a few points that you have enjoyed. I agree that there is always possibility to improve services, but most of the time also it means spending extra money - but the question is if majority of customers are prepared to pay more for the stay and it would appreciate the improvement. The allocation of the room is very easy to sort out as one can always change the room. If particular room view is not available upon your arrival, if staying for few days - one can change the desirable room. As far as the mini bar goes - there is a little bit of confusion. There is no fridge in the room but there is a mini bar in all rooms. The mini bar is empty and if you let us know what you would want in the mini bar - we are very happy to supply you with your required drinks. We are very pleased that we have got a lot of different nationalities. With this it is also very difficult to please all different tastes and likes/dislikes. With the food and entertainment, we always hope that we can please majority of our guests. Of course, there is not only the tastes of different nationalities that are in question. There are also the customers that have got different allergies on different foods, vegetarians, vegans etc…..Taking into account all the above - it brings us to conclusion that we cannot have great choices for everybody but reasonable choices for everybody. If there is absolutely nothing that you would enjoy (on one particular day), one would just need to speak to the restaurant manager and they would prepare something that you would enjoy (and it also includes plain pizza Margarita). If you are one of the people that it is not very easy to please, I would suggest that you do all the possible research on your preferred choice and make sure that your main points are met. I am sorry that we have not met your expectations but have to say that we are very keenly doing the market research (together with our main partners) and I am very pleased to say that results achieved are very encouraging – On TripAdvisor we are always one of the top 3 hotels in Albufeira (out of more than 150 hotels). Hope the above explanations can help. Yours sincerely, Carlos Franco General Manager Falésia Hotel - Adults Only

Very difficult to find fault with this hotel. I stayed Half Board for a week with my son. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great and the evening meals were all excellent. Buffet style, lots of variety. Entertainment in the evenings (singing acts). The bed was super comfortable, room clean as was all of the hotel. I overlooked that there isn’t a gym but the beach is a 10 minute jog. To get to the beach you have to walk through a neighbouring hotel. There are lots of steps down to the beach but there is a lift for the less able. Being an adult only hotel, the pool was quite- lovely.
