This is just such a lovely place to stay! Robin and Fiona are just the nicest hosts. They are so helpful with guiding us to places to visit in the area, booking restaurants, etc, Fiona is just a fabulous cook- the breakfasts were outstanding- fresh bread, cupcakes, fruit, a different hot entree every day. They have a lovely swimming pool with...

What can we say. WinnieHill is a very special place to be. Tucked up in the hills near Faro away from the tourist areas yet so accessible to everything. Other than the great location, comfortable bedrooms, AMAZING breakfast, calmness, beautiful pool is the hospitality of Fiona and Robin Wilson, Abigail, Badger and Winnie the cat. You get a massive warm...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Winniehill. Robin and Fiona were amazing hosts with excellent recommendations for local restaurants, etc. We really appreciated the very detailed written directions to local hot spots. Very handy, since street signs are not always easily found in Portugal. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! My husband eats gluten free and Fiona made sure he did not miss...

Hosts are very friendly(nice dog too !) and it was relaxing after a long day touring to not struggle with language (Robin also speaks Portuguese and French fluently) Breakfasts is...

This was a real "find" for us - peaceful surroundings in a magical house in the foothills overlooking Faro and the surrounding countryside. Fiona and Robin were excellent hosts and a font of knowledge on the local area. Top Tip no.1 - car essential to make the most of a stay here. Top Tip no.2 - starve yourself for several...

We have nothing to add to the already existing reviews. Our stay at Winniehill was great and we would certainly come again. Here, we'd just like to point out, that the Rummikub rules practised at Winniehill are not in line with international standards. :) Katrin & Martin
