A great last-minute place to stay whilst on a friend's holiday! My boyfriend and I decided to extend our holiday very last minute to spend time in Sagres with some of our friends from home. A panic search for a room for the night resulted in finding this gem! The lady on reception warmly welcomed us, provided a hair dryer, a large bottle of water, and a bottle of wine! We were made up after a long day. The rooms are basic but clean and have absolutely everything you need, including a spacious balcony overlooking a cute residential side street. The hotel is a stone's throw away from Tonel Beach which we visited to do bodyboarding but unfortunately, the waves were too high so moved onto Beliche Beach which was a 5 min drive down the road - not bad at all! The swimming pool is great, very clean, and is provided with clean toilets, a pool shower, and ample sun loungers. Upon check-out of the room, the ladies in reception (including the lady who checked us in) went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated by allowing us to leave our suitcases in their locked office whilst we explored Sagres and letting us use the pool and outdoor shower whilst we waited for our airport transfer. We fell in love with Sagres and will definitely be coming back to both the town and Tonel Apartments. …

I do not recommend this place at all. Such a shameful behaviour!!! I booked this place via URL as we wanted to spend one night in Sagres. In two days I have received this sh** email thay if I want to stay I need to pay +50€ as they had error im their system. WTF???? THIS IS YOUR FAULT not mine!!! And what is more shameful? I have responded that obviously they need to assume this issue AAAAAAND? nobody answer... Really? This is how you treat people? This is how you solve your very own issue? You are lucky that this is not via any agency or tour operator as I would fry you with complain that you cannot even imagine!!!! So for everyone, MAKE SURE you book place that treats you well, otherwise they will ruin you vacay!!!!

Super clean and spacious apartments , staff amazing. 2 lots of clean towels etc during our 9 night stay . Right next to tonel beach and short walk into town it’s ideal. Quiet and peaceful garden /pool area. Can’t fault this pace ! We look forward for to coming back . Thank you

Big comfortable 2-bedroom apt. Well furnished and equipped. Check-in was smooth and fast. Very friendly front desk personnel and they even explained what to do around the area. Good WiFi plus free parking and swimming pool. As it is located near the beach the apartment floors were sandy but overall clean and neat. Only downside we came in December and most eating places closed for the low season. Nice place and easy access to attractions.

I truly recommend these apartments. Cleans, good ubication and wonderful neighborhood. If u are going with your couple, its the place to be. Also, they give few presents, like fruits or a bottle of wine. I will repeat for sure 100%.

Welcoming staff. Rooms were excellent for the money. The complimentary bottle of white wine was awesome. I am not giving a 5 because the shower was only luke warm. Hot later at night though. Close to town centre and restaurants.

Been there as two families in June 2017 and found a lovely home for our 10-days-vacation. Everyone of the staff was very friendly and tried to accomodate all our needs. The rooms are spacious and even in hot weather keep their cool - we only had to get some fresh air in, since the days before had been damp. Baby beds were already waiting for the boys, there's a fine equipped kitchen and you can get almost everything you need at the reception (sunshades, grill, etc.). The pool area is - like everything else - very clean an you can decide whether to sunbathe or enjoy a book in the shadow provided - there is also WLAN, if you need your Kindle restocked. 50m from the apartments, there is Tonel Beach, which was our first destination every morning. But there are more beaches in walking distance and also the little town is just a stroll away. The only negative thing we could mention is that you can hear your neighbors sometimes when they shuffle their chairs or hop about. But at the price-range Tonel Apartments offer, this is to be expected and all the other tenants were really nice and kid-friendly!…

This is our first time staying at Tonel Apartments. The rooms are so clean, nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful with all our needs. It is close to lots of beaches and restaurants. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this as 'the place to stay in Sagres'!
