This beautiful and comfortable hotel is situated in a nice bay. Breakfast was good and varied, but sometimes we had the feeling that the owners wanted to end breakfast fast by moving your plate directly when you finished eating. The pool is very big and nice. At the evening we liked to spend some time in the hammocks in the... More

My daughter and I stayed here for one night after taking a ferry from Horta. It was even more beautiful and unique than we expected. The stone buildings are so unique and they are decorated with such artistic flair with artifacts that the owners have brought back from their summer excursions. The breakfast nook is in a beautiful setting in... More

Myself and my husband stayed recently for two nights as part of a multi-stop tour of the Azores. First impressions of this hotel were as expected based on the many other positive reviews, comfortable and clean with a 'higher end' boutique feel. Our room was large with plenty of room to relax, although given the heat and humidity it really... More

A gem just outside the main town on the Island, Euro 7 by taxi or 75mins walk. Beautifully restored old buildings as individual rooms. Choice of 20m walk to sea or pool.Restored vinyards sloping up the hill to a fantastic view of Mt Pico. Wonderfully appointed. B&B only but with such a large choice of breakfast served on a covered... More

Our 3 night stay at Pocnho Bay was excellent. Unfortunately, you have to rent a car as the hotel is located off a quiet street pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, Madalena is only a mere 8-10 minutes drive away for restaurants and shopping. The owner, Luisa, is a very sophisticated and classy woman and you can tell... More

We spent 3 days in this hotel in July. It is really a beautiful place. The rooms' decoration was magic. The swimming pool is giant with an incredible view. I definitively advise everybody to book room in this hotel if you are in Pico!

In authentic buidings in a quiet bay you can hear and smell the sea ...an idyllic setting. Ok.. the petrels swoop at night but that's all part of the experience. So lovely big room and comfy beds, a good breakfast each day and a beautiful garden to woner around. Bliss..

This is not a traditional hotel. Looks more like a B&B or private house. Built respecting the island tradition. Quite interesting accommodation PRO: - the structure itself is fascinating - the decorations of the rooms and "common spaces" are interesting and unusual and reflect the love for traveling of the owners. Nice the pictures shot by the owner on the... More

The owners don't know how to manage their property. They duplicated our reservation and didn't have the decency to question why a couple on their honeymoon would need two separate rooms. Worst of all they said it was our fault and we had to pay the full 3 night on both rooms. I didn't really get a choice not to... More

Dear "Rosie" Sorry but we must correct some facts. First of all, we didn't duplicated your reservation. You did it. You made 2 reservations (one direct with us and one by booking.com). The first reservation was made in your name (R.R.) and the other one in name of your husband (S.H.). As you can see by the initials, there is... More
