Rooms very comfortable in size and new furniture, great view to the beautiful Japanese garden. Decoration is for some reason mostly oriental but in a plain modern style. Breakfast sufficient but not many choices you would expect in a hotel of this standard. Great location hotel, ie close to the center (walking distance) but yet in a quiet spot away...

We stayed at the Royal Garden Hotel. The rooms are great, good size and all we needed, looked over the Japanese gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were great, from the catering to the leisure facilities, couldn't ask for more. Truly fantastic holiday with the location and the trip/activities we booked.

We had 2 rooms with door connection. The room was facing the front of the hotel. Very quiet and peaceful except for one night - there was this wedding inside the hotel: no parking space noise confusion in the common areas The Hotel was pretty much full but we never wait for breakfast. Very nice breakfast with regional products at...

It is a good hotel for groups, not for FIT The rooms were average, in size, comfort . There was no bathrob, when one wanted to go to the pool, there were no towels at the pool or the spa, you need to take a plastic covered 'voucher' that you received at check in and go to the front desk...

Good location close to the centre. Nice lobby, bar and decor in public areas. The pool area was a bit shabby. Lots of overflying planes. Breakfast average. Dinner buffet very limited. Book in B and B basis. Room OK. Get a room overlooking the courtyard otherwise very noisy

The hotel is located within walking distance of downtown and exploring the different areas. Hotel is very clean well maintained and the front desk was always helpful. We had a room in the front on the main street with a balconey where at night we would sit and enjoy the areas sounds and people.

We were a group of 15 family & 2 friends on San Miguel, some of us visiting for the first time, some a returning after moving to Canada many years ago. We were a large group all registering together early in the...

Nice atmosphere everywhere. The hotel is very different from other hotels. It has a wounderfull garden in the middel and the pool is in the back. Very helpfull and serviceminded staff. The dinner and breakfast at the restuarant was good. The rooms were very nice. The location of the is in walking distance to everything. Nothing to complain about.

We didn't have the best reception ( just past midnight, off an Azores Airlines, on time, regular flight from London, so arriving guests were expected), everything at the hotel was closed, could not even get a bottle of water! There were 2 small bottles of water in the 'warm' fridge in the room 2.5€ each. The hotel was very clean,...
