We were stuck in Covilhã during a snow storm, the roads were closed and we couldn't get to our destination. We called the hotel late at night and they were able to accommodate us for the night. Staff mid super friendly although the hotel was fully booked, everyone was always very thoughtful to us and our small daughter. The rooms...

It's a big hotel, quit far from the city center. You have plenty of parking just by the hotel. It is very close to bring the baggage in. The rooms are clean, comfortable and big, with a big bathroom. The breakfast is reach and tasty. Free WiFi. Everything was very good.

I found the rooms with poor lighting, the TV had good channels but the volume could only go from 0 to 25 in a 100 scale. I believe that this could be due to noise going to the adjacent rooms but some channels were difficult to hear. Only used the pool and not the gym but got nothing to say...

We stayed here in May 2015 during our tour of Portugal and Spain. This hotel has 90 rooms and is easy to find just off the main road. The room was quite large with satisfactory AC. We also had an anteroom and large bathroom. There was a safe but no key provided - so it was not functional for us....

Nice and comfortable accomodations. Same for the staff. Not so nice dinner buffet. Overall a good choice if with intend to visit either the Serra da Estrela or the surroundings. Be assured there are extremely good gastronomy in the city of Covilhã and nearby.

This hotel is great value for money. Rooms are well equipped, air conditioned and large. Staff are friendless. Buffet is no nonsense home cooked food. Beer and wine are cheap, 1euro for a beer in a hotel, how good us that. We use it as a stop off point on our way to the Algarve, but it's very cyclist friendly...

We stayed in this hotel in early March 2012: It is a good option if you are on budget. But it general it is just ok. On the plus side - It is relativey close to the center but also to the main road that leads you to the mountain. It has a huge free parking lot, which is very...

Stay there with my family (2 couples + young kids) for 3 nights in August 2012. The stay was very enjoyable and the staff very helpful and friendly. Despite the rooms looked like a bit old, they offer all needed comfort, especially when travelling with 1 year old kids. The pool area isn´t too large, but the kids enjoyed a...
