We stayed at Isabels Guesthouse for 3 nights. The house and the garden are very beautiful. we had a very nice view over Colares from our balcony. Its walking distance to Praia grande. Isabel is a very friendly host who is truly interested in her guests comfort. We would definitely stay there again!

Our host greets us and tells us all we need and want to know. "This is a family house, feel at home, prepare your own food in the kitchen, come and go as you like." The family "Ba" (grandmother) serves nice breakfast and the super host Isabel pops in to say good morning in the visitors living room every morning....

This was a great experience as travelers who wanted to get to know the area outside Lisbon and stay with a multi lingual Portuguese family. The beautiful beach was right up the street and Lisbon was accessible by train. The scenery nearby was wonderful and we actually were able to relax and enjoy ourselves without the constant pressure of meeting...

We were traveling with our 6 months old daughter, and we got a baby cot for free and were allowed to use the kitchen to prepare baby food. Also we enjoyed sitting by the fire place downstairs...

We first met Isabel and her family in 2007 and from the first moment we felt like we had come home. Isabel is the most warm-hearted and helpful person and her bed-and-breakfast is an experience not to be missed. Over the past 7 years we have stayed at her quinta in all seasons and we enjoyed winter evenings at the...

We spent two nights here on our way to Porto from Lisbon, can highly recommend. The host Isabel was very friendly and helpful, our son fell in love with her puppy Bolt and still mentions him. Had the best two sleeps in Portugal. Very close to nice beaches, and a very scenic drive.
