I travelled with my family (3 children). We spent a week in Quinta da Vigia and felt whole time warmly wellcome, staff was friendly and helpfull, pool was clean and nice and our apartment very suitable for a family with children. Kitchen was good enough to prepare our own meals. Yard was safe. There were three beaches in a walking... More

I Had a T1 apartment in Quinta da Vigia. This hotel is a nightmare, the apartments are all very dusty, there is almost no cleaning and most things don't work. This is the most crappy hotel I've ever stayed in. Would not recommend to anyone. It's not worth 10% of the price!

We have been there 15 days with many Friends. Dirty swimming pool, cold showers, kitchen like dog food. The coffee cost 60 cent the first day, 1 euro the second. 2 euro a bottle of TAP water. I suggest you never go there

Small apartment hotel at the beach. The hotel has 10 rooms just at the seafront. The rooms are ok sized and beds are comfy enough. Our room was clean but a bit outdated. There's cracks in the walls and the tiling in the bathroom was a bit rough. But, we booked the hotel just to stay the nights and it... More

... Otherwise a decent 3* hotel. Our room in the main body was large, bright and furnished as necessary (comfortable bed, TV with satellite channels, coffee set) and the bathroom with bathtub/shower was clean and well-equipped. Fantastic the view on the Ocean, even if our window was directly on the street for the beach... but no noisly during the night!... More

First of all, I'd like to say I traveled to Quinta da Vigia with my family (parents, me and my brother) we had a rented car, because main reason for our stay in Portugal was to visit several places including Lisbon and other smaller towns near to it. We payed a lot of money for the entire holiday, in my... More

We have rarely seen anything perfect in Portugual, but there are various levels of deterioration. Quinta da Vigia has a nice enough outdoor space, but there was a low wall that basically blocked any view of the ocean from the gardens. The rooms were furnished with very old, disheveled, and originally low quality couches and beds. Most of the rooms... More

We happened upon this hotel as we ran into problems with accomodation that we had booked in the area, we were a party of 12 and were stuck last minute for somewhere to stay. The staff were so helpful, they had availability the following night and rang their sister hotel in Praia Maca's and got us 3 apts for the... More

Could use some paint outdoors, mainhouse looks untouched since 70's but apts are simple & clean and reasonably equiped ( coffeemaker, waterboiler, small stove, microwave). fresh towels everyday. apts with seaview really give you a great view of the ocean. Gardenapts give you a lawn in front with a wall view :) staff is really nice & friendly. 200mtrs from... More

We had an apartment for two people and it had plenty of room and it could actually sleep three more people. The lady that we dealt with when booking in did not speak english but we managed to communicate through pointing and gestures etc. The photos on the brochures look very flash but in reality the villa is looking quite...
