I am surprised that some folks rated this hotel as "terrible." At the very worst, its "average." However, my wife and I loved this place. The room was big and spacious. The view was great (Rm 403) and we had great interactions with the staff. They were helpful and, at times, even went out of their way to meet our...

The Inglaterra is right in the centre of Estoril, just a few minutes walk from the famous Estoril Casino. Estoril is reasonably pleasant, but Cascais just a mile or two down the road is much more attractive and has a much better choice of restaurants, shops etc. It's a very attractive building, and has obviously seen much investment in recent...

We arrived at the hotel with little in the way of good expectations as we had booked a golf trip with the hotel being part of the package. When we arrived we were greeted like we were returning guests. We found the room and the bathroom to be a touch on the small side but we only slept there so...

We stayed here in July 2007 for 5 nights. Hotel was really lovely - the building itself has a lot more character than many of the 60's/70's style breeze block buildings at the bottom of the hill, although the views are limited. The room was really contemporary with all mod cons needed and the hotel facilities (pool etc.) were great....

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The weather was not good which meant the room was cold. We had a suite on the top floor. There were draughts blowing through badly fitted windows. The only remedy for this was extra blankets, no change of room was offered, even though the hotel had very few guests at the time....

I’ve stayed 2 nights at this hotel. I confess that it’s a beautiful hotel (great building and modern furniture) and it’s very well located (2 minutes walk from sea and the Casino). It has a swimming pool, gym, a nice bar and a fun room (with books, games and a big screen). Rooms are well decorated, but they have a...

We spent a week here at the end of July. The room wa lovely, very clean and stylish with a view of the bay. The buffet breakfast gave a good choice including lots of prepared freash fruit, loads of different breads, cold meats and cheese and a small hot selection. The pool is a reasonable size and there were lots...
