The Lumiares Hotel and Spa is in a fantastic location and I highly recommend it! Our room was very spacious and updated- (2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room). The hotel service was INCREDIBLE (super helpful and friendly), the rooftop bar was perfect, and the breakfast was the best way to start our day. I rented a car and there was a parking garage right next door which was super convenient. If you do need a car service, they will order you one which I did when my friend arrived. They have turn down service at night and they leave special treats. I was very happy with my visit and will definitely stay there again!!

The Lumiares Hotel and Spa in Lisbon was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in abroad. What a wonderful welcome to this beautiful city. The hotel deserves every single one of its 5 stars, from the front desk reception to the accommodations and the wonderful rooftop bar with a perfect view. An espresso maker along with a complementary bottle of Portuguese wine...all of the best touches to make it a perfect room. The Jet-Lag massage I got from their spa on site was phenomenal and a must-do on your arrival day! From the moment we walked in we were treated as if we were their most special guests and staying at this property was one of the best choices I made during our summer vacation!

Attention to detail is what makes this hotel fantastic! We enjoyed five days and have only the highest praises for this property. Our room was lovely and the staff were very attentive. The rooftop restaurant was a great way to start the day with many breakfast options and a great end of day with a drink looking out over the city. Spa was wonderful too. Could not recommend this hotel more!

Nestled in Bairro Alto, this is THE PLACE to stay if you want to experience the exuberant vibe of Lisbon’s attractions and night life. When you walk out the front door you are right at the trolley and in the midst of all the bars and restaurants you could ever want, particularly if you are interested in experiencing Fado. Many attractions are walkable from this spot and an Uber is only two minutes away when you don’t feel like hoofing it back. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a kitchenette on the third floor and it was perfect for our family of three - having the second bedroom and bathroom was a luxurious option for a European vacation. I wouldn’t describe the suite as opulent, but I give it five stars for spaciousness, style and cleanliness. If you leave your windows open, you’ll hear the hustle and bustle throughout the day and night - but the sound proofing is quite good and if you retire early with the windows shut, you’ll still get a good night’s sleep unless you are an incredibly light sleeper (and if that’s the case, don’t stay in Bairro Alto). If a view is what you’re looking for, go to the rooftop - it lives up to its hype and the city view is outstanding. If it’s a weekend night, be sure to make a reservation. I could seriously live on the “Timeless” cocktail, tempura green beans and ox tail croquettes for the rest of my life. The included breakfast is a delightful surprise with buffet style fare and a hot menu made fresh to order. Don’t skip it. The service was great and the staff embodies the warmth and hospitality the Portuguese people are known for. TRANSPORTATION TIP: renting a car and driving in Lisbon is not for the faint of heart - but I’m sure that sounds very American of me. Buckle up and leave your SUV behind: if you must rent a car, go as small as possible and be prepared to drive where you think you shouldn’t. Next time, we will take advantage of hotel transportation from the airport.…

We had a lovely time. Our apartment was a one bedroom with kitchen and living room. It is in the perfect place for a first time visit to Portugal. Yes, it is in a part of town that has a lively night life, there was some noise but overall the apartment was so comfortable. The service was the best I have had at a hotel, I would love to be able to come back and stay. Do use the spa - the massage I had was amazing and the food was great. The breakfast that was included was perfect, we staid for 8 days and enjoyed every day here.

Great location since it’s next to an overlook. The street out front is narrow and hard to get to especially with luggages. The double windows really shut out all street noise. The room is a one bedroom rather than a studio. The rooftop was great and it’s nice that they had 2 comp drinks for our stay.

I am someone with chronic back problems, so I always ask for deep tissue massages, and very rarely do they help me/ meet my expectations, however, the massage I received with Lily was absolutely amazing! She has received some of the knots and muscles that have been “stuck”. I am so grateful I got to experience this and my back feels better than ever! Thank You Lily, wish I could take you home with me!!!

Idyllic hotel in an absolutely wonderful location. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully styled, the beds are large and comfortable. It is worth paying the extra money for the breakfast as it's not your typical hotel buffet. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was fantastic and the massages provided by the spa were some of the best I've ever had.

Excellent hôtel, ideally located in the historical center of Lisbon. The apartments with two comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms are fully equipped and tastefully decorated. The service is kind and efficient, the breakfast area is cosy and light, with beautiful views on the city. I strongly recommend this lovely place !
