I would highly recommend anywhere but here! Here is why: Room smells like smoke/butt, None stop noise all night, Crazy amounts of ants, Dirty bath mats they won't clean!, No WiFi on floor above 2, Horrible water pressure, Rock hard bed, Horrible view, No room to walk past bed, Squeaky fans. I was there for 5 days, lets just say...

Three storey high building in the very bohemian "Bairro Alto". No lift, kind of kitsch decor, not very comfortable and noise from the crowds on the weekends could be a problem (there's a bar just next to the residencial that is open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at least) Good things about it are the location (quite central),...

The hostel has a really perfect situation in Bairro Alto. It is exactly on the street with all the nice bars and restaurants, so if you plan going out in...
