We liked everything at Casa do Patio, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast with fresh orange juice and eggs, homely environment, comfortable and clean room. Great location with almost everything nearby. I can sit with coffee or wine on the patio and chat with visitors from all over the world. Love is in the air there. Certainly come back here...

The room was fairly clean and spacious enough. Staff, especially Raphael, were very friendly and helpful. The downside was there are no staff present after 9pm. There were other guests making much noise until after 0200am. Very disruptive, with no one to intervene on behalf of the other guests trying to sleep.

We choose to stay at these rustic apartments rather than the usual hotels and I was not disappointed it had a real authentic Portuguese feel and the staff couldn't do enough for you. We would stay again given the chance.

Nice small boutique hotel with charm and friendly staff. Low key, relaxed feeling to the place. Quiet although airplanes do fly over Lisbon. Decent breakfast and an honesty bar for after dinner drinks on the patio

Our first trip to Lisbon and this was the perfect choice for us! Love it! Why? The location is tucked away, off a tiny street but central to the old part of the city! It's built around a lovely courtyard, so different from the busy hotels around us. We requested a quiet room and are upstairs, at the end of...

We stayed in the one bed room apartment on the 5th floor , the views over the city are fantastic and at sunset it was stunning! The apartment is well equipped, extremely comfortable and come with fresh towels and daily housekeeping . The climb upstairs to the apartment is not for the unfit but it's worth a wee bit of...

In the heart of old Lisbon, around a beautiful yard. Personnel is friendly and very professional, they will give you useful advises too visit the city and to find non-turistic restaurants. Very good breakfast. In brief: if you have a weekend to spend in Lisbon, here's a very good solution.

We got a guest house, yes a HOUSE to live in, in a sunny backyard of one of the old hills in Lisbon. The standard is very good, the staff extremely friendly and service Minded and the breakfast good. I will definitely consider this place again when we return to this marvellous city.

This place is very comfortable. We had an appartament with a beautiful view on the street and the 25th abril bridge. The waiter is very professional and the clime in the room was warm and cosy. The position is a little bit far from the metro stop. The style is modern.

To get into the soul of Lisbon this is the best place to start. My room had a lovely view over old rooftops and azulejo clad buildings. Clean, modern interior, air conditioned and very warm in winter. Friendly staff serving a breakfast of freshly made delicacies. So many nice details.. like booking a taxi for you to the airport the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses started in 2007 and is a trademark for "refined" guesthouses, combining the provision of comfort and elegance with a customer service completely dedicated to each of its customers. In Spring 2011, Casa do Patio by Shiadu, the third Shiadu guesthouse, welcomed its first guests. "Wow!" Is the first thing you'll say when you come into the patio for the very first time! This is a wonder that you will not easily find because it is hidden and protected right in the heart of the Santa Catarina neighbourhood, 5 minutes walking distance from Chiado, Bairro Alto and the No. 28 Tram to Alfama. It is on this patio, called Patio das Parreiras, that you can every morning enjoy our delicious home-made breakfast, get all the tips and advice on how to uncover Lisbon and relax at the end of the day by savouring some typical Portuguese snacks... For your stay you have the choice of several options that range from a double suite to a family room or even an apartment with kitchen (lodging 2 to 4 people) with direct access to the patio or via one of the nearby buildings located next to the patio. You may be lost for choice when looking at the various options but with regards to customer service at Casa do Patio, there is only one possible option: a total commitment which will offer you a most memorable stay in Lisbon!
