Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The room was clean comfortable & had everything you would need. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection & service. Staff in the lobby were always very pleasant & helpful. Location was excellent close to the main Oriente train & Metro station, with many restaurants in the surrounding area.

Hotel's Favourite
A 4 star hotel with a 5 star service, close to bars and restaurants around Lisbon town centre. We chose this hotel because it was a 2 minute walk to the Altice centre at which we enjoyed the company of Andrea Boccelli. Staff were smart friendly and welcoming at all times though the bar area (too small) left a bit to be desired. Plenty of places to visit and Uber was our choice of transport, ever available and cheap!

-Stuff very rude and not helpful. -1st bottle of water in your room free, rest of day you have to pay! -Asked for a plug, 1st they say not our job then they asked me to bring the device to reception and they will decide what I need! -No ventilation in the bathroom. -Bed not comfobrtable. -Rooms are very old and have a small -Elevators were shut down, they assume that they put a paper next to it rather then putting a one on each room!! -They don’t refuel the room with the regular stuff unless you asked! ( trying to save money)

Perfect place to explore Lisbon from ..lots of restaurants and access to subway. Hotel first class ! We have been there before and have been impressed with the fine level of services and the quality of rooms great - plenty of room and everything you need in the bathrooms too (lots of towels etc). We would recommend this hotel also for how close it is to aquarium which is worth a visit (or two)

I opened my luggage and left it open on the supplied luggage table in the room. In the morning I discovered most of my clothing was now wet. Apparently the air conditioner had a clogged drain and water was overflowing out of the ceiling dripping directly into my luggage. I called the front desk and they promptly came up to the room and apologized but offered nothing as a remedy. Something as simple as offering to wash and dry my clothing would have been a good gesture. I was told a note would be made to the manager, I have yet to see any attempt at communicating with me regarding this although it has only been a couple days so they may yet communicate.

Visited end of August. Location was great with lots of restaurants in the area and we had a very nice clean room for a family of three. Front desk staff was very helpful in recommending a great Portuguese restaurant nearby. However, one staff (Pablo? I did not clearly catch his name) ruined our otherwise great stay. Due to jet lag, I was not able to sleep and was walking around the lobby, checking out the hotel restaurant from the outside for our breakfast next day. One of the staff yelled at me from behind that I am in the staff area and should not walk around the area, asked if I am staying at the hotel and demanded that I provide him my room number. I do not believe an area in front of the restaurant can be a staff only area, off limit to hotel guests. Any way, I told him I was staying at room 1012. This rude staff who treats hotel guest as an intruder ruined our otherwise great stay. Based on our interaction with other hotel staff, this appears to be an isolated problem with this particular staff as all other staff were extremely courteous and professional. I highly recommend that the hotel management identifies and take appropriate actions against problem employee(s) who does not understand this is a hospitality business and single handedly ruins hotel guests' otherwise pleasant experience.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Lisbon! It was was conveniently located just a short walk from the Oriente Train Station. There's a mall nearby and eateries all in walking distance. I particularly liked it because it was outside of the city/touristy area, but also close enough to take an Uber (very inexpensive) to get to the places you want to go to like the Alfama district, etc. The hotel is really nice and the staff is very helpful with assisting you to navigate the area. The room was comfortable, wi-fi with password available, and they have USB ports by the bed so no need to use your converter charger if you're from the states. I was here during my birthday and the hotel surprised be with delivering champagne and desserts to the room. A nice treat! Just note if you arrive early, you won't be able to check in until their check-in time at 2pm. Our flight got in at 8am and we arrived at the hotel around 9ish. We weren't allowed to go to the room yet, but they did hold our bags and we ate and walked around until around 1pm or so and then they finally let us check in. By the way, it's not far from the airport either about 15, maybe 20 mins. Overall, great stay; I recommend.

We only stayed in this hotel for one night before catching a flight but we have to say, the staff at this hotel were exceptional and really made our one night in this area great. They were knowledgeable and helpful and we would stay here again - it's right next to the metro so it's easy to catch a train anywhere and right next to a mall for shopping.
