In the heart of Parque das Nações, the TRYP Lisboa Oriente Hotel was remodeled with the theme "Expo 98" and the Oceans. The rooms are distinguished by elegance, modernity and comfort and are characterized by marine environments and the harmony of the sea. They offer free Wi-Fi, a TV with satellite channels, a seating area, direct dial telephone and air conditioning. The restaurant "Bistrô & Tapas", which is meant for a pleasant terrace, presents the most iconic brand of Expo 98: panels that reflect the universality of the event and evokes the appreciated passport of the Exhibition. Located close to FIL - International Fair of Lisbon, the famous Oceanarium, Casino de Lisboa and only a few minutes from Lisbon International Airport, the TRYP Lisboa Oriente is about 15 minutes from the historic city center. There is a full transport network within walking distance.

Parque das Nações
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.

We arrived at TRYP ORIENTE for Christmas. it was 4 star, so, we were expecting a higher standard of Hotel than what we got. We were put in a room on one of the lower floors which was basically a double room. We had booked a family room, but what they did was to place a narrow

Elegant but horrifically overpriced. Ive stayed here a couple times on different trips to Lisboa. My first time it was as exciting a stay as when i was a child- almost disneyland level electricity. However, its a tight squeeze spatially- about 1/3rd the space youd get in a room

Stayed here with tour group. Short walk (5mins) to metro. Twenty minutes to heart of downtown with one change. Large shopping center very near hotel. Short stroll to many good riverside restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms small but comfortable. Only problem- not

I have never seen a pool at the hotel... But I know there is a spa area... So the chances are good.

I had room service: a Caesar salad and a glass of wine. The salad was good, but nothing special. The whole thing was quite expensive.
