This hotel may not be in the middle of Lisbon, but its directly next tor the Oriente station (which can take you to the middle of Lisbon in less than 15 minutes!) Its modern, clean, business-like, and very quiet (which is great for when you need your rest after trekking the hills of Lisbon all-day sightseeing!) They had a free...

Our room 1101 was a "premium" room with a fitness machine installed (unfortunately not much used). While internet was not free, it costs only 5 Euros for 24hrs ! We found that the Oriente Station nearby was not only for the metro, but also railway and buses ! The Vasco Da Gama shopping mall was very good with restaurants, shops,...

The hotel is situated just next to the Oriente railway station. The airport is also nearby, but not within walking distance. Buffet breakfast was nice. Room was clean and quite big. The noise of trains can be disturbing on the western side of the building, but during night there weren't so many going on... And for rail enthusiasts this is...

The hotel staff were efficient and friendly which was great. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. But what really ruined it was the proximity to one of the main train stations in Lisbon and the windows are not really sound proofed. Hearing the tannoy, claxons and trains pass all night really...

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighbourhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
