Hotel is in a very convenient location just a short walk <10mins from Avenue da Liberdade and main tourist and shopping areas in Lisbon.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
I chose the Bed and Breakfast option and the breakfast was served daily in the dining room from 7am. Breakfast options were of high quality with plenty of options.
The reception bar was a nice place to sit with a book or have a chat.

Stayed in this hotel recently. It's a smallish hotel in the upper town area of the city. It is very close to Parque metro so it is very easy to get around the city from the hotel so don't be put off by the location not being smack bang in the centre. The reception staff were extremely helpful and overall staff were friendly and efficient. The room was huge. It had a king size and a queen size bed in it with plenty of additional space. Very comfortable and clean. Bed linen crisp and white. Breakfast was very good with a plentiful selection. Some say that the rooms are dated. This is true but in a good way. You could tell from the room we had that the quality of the furnishings were high so why change it if it's not broken. I quite liked the look of the hotel as it wasn't standard modern. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Transfers to the airport only took around 20 mins obviously depending on the traffic.
Overall would definitely recommend the hotel for a short city break to a lovely city.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the centre of Lisbon and only a 5-10 minute walk from the hop on hop off bus stop. It only took about 30 minutes to get there from the airport. The reception staff are very polite and check in was very simple. The room was roomy but lacked power sockets to plug in devices or the kettle that was provided in the room. No USB outlets but it is an older style hotel. The room was very clean and products provided in the bathroom. There was a safe and small refridgerator also. The was plenty of space to hang clothing. We found the beds uncomfortable but lovely and clean. The breakfast is on the ground floor and adequate. The staff at breakfast were very accommodating. There are restaurants within walking distance in the area and although near main roads it is not a noisy location. It was convenient for our 3 night stay.

Ok. We’ve just left it after two nights and will be back in 7 days time.

We brought along two friends who hadn’t been here before and they were very pleased with their stay.

It’s our third time staying here in about 4 years but as wu flu interrupted we would have otherwise returned more often.

The front of house staff are five star. They can’t do enough to help and this has been our consistent experience over years. One star reviews here are not defensible.

The rooms are a great five star size but we found ours a bit chilly for most of the day: reception control the air conditioning probably due to energy price hikes. A balance needs to be struck here for guest comfort so 3 stars here.

Our room had a mini bar/fridge, a fold out table, a 1980’s tv that we didn’t turn on and a comfy bed. The bidet is a wonderful addition to comfort and more places should provide them.

I have no truck with folks who complain about worn out, tired and faded hotels, maybe because I am too, but here it’s not a big deal and it adds to the charm of the place. If ya want glitzy, plastic and flat pack I’m sure there’s lots of places for you - I’ll take elegance and charm any day.

Now to the haphazard - no cooked food is offered in the evenings and the reception bar is not open consistently - I’m sure there’s a business reason for it but it’s not a deal breaker for us we just make other arrangements that suit us.

Breakfast for us was 15 euro each so at this price it’s time to offer better quality particularly coffee which is alright but not great and fruit juices which aren’t 100% juice. This part has been consistently poor over our 4 years experience and 2 star. It’s easily sorted out mind if the management decide to act.

There was one other real annoyance: I asked for 2 fried eggs at breakfast as the pre cooked scrambled looked unappetising to be told first they didn’t do them then told I may have to pay extra. I got the eggs after all but this should not have happened instead when a guest asks for fried eggs at breakfast it’s yes how would you like them cooked?

I’ll put it down to a kitchen misunderstanding but if the chef/cook really can’t be bothered then perhaps it’s time they looked elsewhere for work. It’s the hospitality sector not the hostility sector.

Still a 5 star against price paid, the great front facing staff, the comfort level and the sheer charm of the place.

The hotel bills itself as a 4 star but it is anything but. It is quite ancient and tired. The rooms and furniture are dated and worn. Matresses are old. The first room we were assigned to had no electrical outlets except one behind a large piece of furniture where the TV was plugged in. They gave us an extension cord but as we had two phones and two tablets to charge this was only a partial solution. The wifi did not work and a technician had to be sent up. Finally, all the lights could be on or all off. Nothing in between. We asked to be moved to another room which turned out to be marginally better.

Room Tip: There are much better hotels in Lisbon for the same price. Their star rating is inflated.

Lovely Hotel. Room/En-suite spotless clean. Really lovely breakfast - hot and cold buffet. Great variety of tea/coffee/pastries/fruit/juice/yoghurt etc. . Reception staff friendly and courteous. Few negatives: Mattresses a bit too soft for us. Staff in breakfast room inclined to stand and stare at guests during breakfast which was slightly uncomfortable. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from the Edward VII park and park subway station, in a quiet road (except for the building works going on next door!). Best described as oldish but charming.
Everything was clean, our room (702) was large, had a bath with shower and a balcony, that could easily house the two chairs from the room.
Ideal for siting in the afternoon and evening sun. The view overlooks the road, across roof tops and you can watch the plans approach the airport.
The only complaint about the room was one of the bedside lamps didn't work and wasn't fixed during our stay.
The staff were fantastic but you can only get breakfast here, which is very good, or room service. There is a bar but it didn't open on Sunday and Monday night. Overall very good at the price

The hotel was clean enough, but very outdated. The hotel is way overdue for some updating. When we came back to our hotelroom after a trip to the city, we found bugs on the ceiling and behind the bathroomdoor. A 4 star classification is way too high.

We had a great time in Lisbon but the day we checked out of the hotel within 15 minutes we realized we had left our 2 hoodies in the closet. We were at the train station. We called them immediately and they could not find our sweaters. Then we called them back when we got to Porto, they had found them, how were we going to get them? They don’t send anything from their hotel… then we were told we had to arrange a package for them to go in and arrange for them to be shipped to our new hotel. Finally after 3 days the Tourim hotel said they would send our coats to us at the next place we stopped at in 2 days. Today we are at the hotel we told them we were going to be at and no hoodies… I am totally disgusted with their customer service as I have travelled all over the world and have never had such a run around as we are getting from this hotel!

A lovely little hotel in a good location. Very friendly and welcoming staff, rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast choice. We didnt get a chance to eat dinner here as the restaurant was unfortunately closed in the evenings.
