an unexpected road trip from madrid brought us to lisboa. we had no plan or any idea where to go. a couple on the street told us to head to the bairro alto area and recommended another hostel to us. it was fully booked .. a security guard told us about the miradouro -- as in other review, pretty sketchy...

Upon approaching this hostel (which, luckily was easy as there was a tram to take us up the massive hill to which it was located) it looked awful! The outside looked run down and like it could collapse any second. Despite this, we went inside and were quite impressed with the hostel. It was clean to perfection! There were floorboards...
