I am staying at this hotel now and can honestly say this hotel is really worn down and in need of a major upgrade. The room, although a good size, has wallpaper that is peeling off the walls and is stained. The hot water in the showers is very inconsistent varying between cold and scalding. They only have two working...

The hotel is OK. The rooms are a good size, albeit a little tired. The beds are definitely comfortable. A gym is definitely missing and a pool would be nice. Shame on me that I did not enquire about a gym. Would not have stayed here had I known as my son and I both like to work out. The...

The reception is OK and the staff just nice. The problems start with the elevators. There are three but they work very badly and slow. My room was on the fourth floor and facing the main road, and the noise was an issue. The room was cold and the A/C does not work very good and just bring the temperature...

This hotel seems to have received a great deal of attention 10 to 20 years ago and was then left to age without the proper maintenance to keep it up. That being said, the materials are of good quality, fine floors, granite and porcelain tiles, spacious guestrooms, well designed etc. The only problem is that things are in dire need...

I travel a lot and stay at hotels very often. I saw the reviews from the hotel and it seems to have a lot of bad comments. I hope today once I get there the hotel has good conditions, as usually the time I have to relax is the time I am at the hotel room. But it seems by...

Even at the 7th floor trains are passing inside your room as well continuously night and day. Birds guano, dirty windows and horrible room conditions with insect below the pillow!!! No emergency exit and escape route signs, no fire extinguishers on the floors! Low quality Breakfast. We escaped after one night, canceling the second one reservation.

I used to be a regular at this hotel, more than 5 years ago, when it was recent and modern. Now, it shows some need of maintenance, with really worn furniture. I also found the room to need more lights because even with every lamp lit the light was not enough and they didn't care to turn on the heat...

This hotel is not bad at all, but for a 4 stars hotel the room are cold during the winter, I try to regulate the room temperature to the max. (High temperature), but unfortunately it stills the same, a humid room. The safe in my room wasn't working, which maybe was bad luck to me, but I found it bad....

Although the hotel is very well located for who wants to visit or work in Parque das Nações this hotel has been a disappointment. Damaged Furniture, poor painting on the halls, the elevators doesn't work efficiently. Good enough for one or two days reserve. Definitely the hotel management needs to do several improvements.

I loved this hotel, it's very modern and clean, lots of light and glass and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. except the bathroom, it is very basic and nothing fancy but hey.... you only need a good bed right? The area of Oriente/Parque das Naçoes is one of my favourite areas in Lisbon, it has a lot to do at...

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighbourhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
