Had a wonderful time at Residencial Pina. The views are amazing from our balcony in our room (203) and the hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. Isabelle and Micaela always had a smile to share. Will certainly be back!

We stayed at Residencial Pina before we left and after we came back from Porto Santo Island. Micaela and her family are lovely hosts, everything is easy and they make you feel welcome. A little bit up the hill, you have a stunning view on Funchal, the harbour and the sea (book a sea view room!). When we have seen... More

The people at Pina are so nice that you absolutely won´t mind a bit of simplicity of your accommodation. The views from Pina are great, the pool is a perfect place to chill on a hot day and again, the people are so great and willing that it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. I would definitely recommend... More

Hotel Pina has very friendly en well English speaking owners. Rooms are decent. They have no airco, but we did not need it. Funchal has sun but in the evening it became always cooler. Sight from the hotel is great, rooms, breakfast; cleaning are OK. You are searching for a minus? If you eat in the evening in town, you... More

The welcome was warm and the ensuite rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony which had a good view down the hill to the harbour so you can see the boats coming in and out of Funchal. There is a small swimming pool. Free wifi in the bar. The staff are lovely and very... More

Booking from the UK a few months in advance we were pleased by the can do attitude of Michaela. Everything went very smoothly and all emails were answered promptly. A warm welcome on our arrival to the hotel. Great views from the poolside and a happy barman who understood enough English to have a pleasent few nights. A good basic... More

Found this hotel through booking.com and trip advisor but decided to book direct with the hotel. This is a lovely family run business. Micaela on reception is really the only one that speaks English but she was extremely helpful throughout the booking process, explaining the difference in rooms and advising us on how to get from the airport to the... The location is great and it is close to the center. Excellent views from the room and tasty & full breakfast. The owners and the staff are very nice and helpful. The free parking is very helpful, even if the entry is a bit narrow. I would come back again. Attached views from the reception and from the room.
