Its a very good hotel near by the boulevard off Funchal. It has 18 rooms and the people are very kindly. Clean rooms and good beds. The breakfast is more than enough and there is everything. There is also an elevator.
The room is spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room has balcony overlooking a small pool. There is free wifi which was great. Breakfast was either scramble eggs or fried eggs, mushrooms or tomatoes, cereals, yogurt, bread and meats. The staff are very friendly…
Just returned to Madeira for a new year break and stayed at the bright star for the second time. Hotel was as remembered with friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and a great location for everything in Funchal. Would definitely return yet again.
Small hotel-only 3 floors. Rooms are clean and well furnished. 3rd floor rooms have south west facing balconies with side sea views. However they face on to a car park and are overlooked by a huge new hotel being built. Beds are very hard and have plastic mattress covers.…
