The front of the building is a little bit old but quit nice, and in the portugees style: with shiny (sadly not that shiny any more) blue tiles. The entrance is very nice done. No idea what material it is, but it looks like white marble (I suppose it isn't otherwise it would be quite expensive for a 2 star...

Me and my girlfriend had the bad luck to stay in this hotel for two nights. The room had a very strong smell of something like naftalina and moreover it was full of ants! We passed the first night scratching from them...a thing to be said is that the position is great but I would never book here again

There are ups and downs of our stay in this hotel. We loved how the personnel was doing their best to help us with anything we needed. Although we arrived late in the evening at the lady at the reception spoke no English we managed to communicate with help of google translate and she helped us to find what we...

We have spent one week in San Marino (hotel or residencial, there are different signs) and that was a positive experience. We had a room overlooking the Praca Carlos Alberto and with a small balcony. Bathroom was good with a quite big shower cabin. The breakfast was adequate, the bread was always new, but a piece of cheese would have...

The best thing about this place is the staff. There is always someone at the front desk (24 hour reception) and one woman in particular (who was usually there in the day time) spoke impeccably good English and went out of her way to help us. She was phoning airports and researching bus options for us when there was a...

The friendliness of the staff didn't compensate for the dirt and discomfort of this place. Nothing worked, from the plumbing to the internet. I had a stiff neck from the lumpy pillows. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open and the door to the hall wouldn't stay shut! The only positive I can think of is the location.

Accepted dogs so we booked and whaat a nice surprise when we arrived. Friendly staff, clean rooms and the locality is great. This is a simple pension but offers so much warmth that if I ever return to Porto I would not hesitate in staying there again. There is an underground secure car park almost outside the hotel but as...
