This hostel is in a great location, within walking distance to all the main sights in the city. The rooms are well decorated and have good beds, and the best part was the friendly staff who gave us lots of recommendations. Breakfast was a nice inclusion. This is a super choice for a cheap but nice hostel.

Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We booked a small double room and got a free upgrade to the normal room because it was not busy at that time. I would definitely recommend to stay at Magnolia Porto Hostel.

We stayed in one of the superior suites which was a beautiful room, huge with a large bathroom. All brand newly renovated. Could not believe the cheap price we paid for this room as it was the nicest by far of all the rooms we had stayed in throughout Europe for the cheapest price. The staff were awesome, well informed... More

We stayed 3 nights in Magnolia Porto Hostel and loved it. The staff was great, the location perfect, the room big and clean and breakfast complete. We loved our stay in Magnolia Porto. The only objection is that there's no kitchen for the guests, but they allowed us to hear food in the microwave if needed. If we are back... More

We had a room across the street from the main building, magnolia suites. I liked the atmosphere of the building. De room was basic, very spacious and clean. It seemed brand new. Everything you need is there, two glasses/cups would have been nice though. The location is good, staff very friendly and the outside garden is lovely for breakfast. There... More

Good value for money. Not big room but OK. Excellent friendly staff. The location was very good, walking distance to the centre and the bridge. Clean and the breakfast is ok. The negative aspect is the lack of fan or air conditioning which creates difficulty to sleep if there is hot weather.

To be honest, the best two things about this hostel are the staff and the location, my room had a nice sunny view, and it was spacious, but it was cold and the heaters didn't heat the room up, the windows were old, so the cold came right in, the noise was unbearable sometimes, but I managed, the last thing... + friendly staff + clean bathroom + simple breakfast + opportunity to sit outside (you can take your breakfast outside for example) + good location (almost everything is on walking distance) - really noisy - no shower mat so everything gets wet - the living room smells bad

Liked everything about the place but loved the garden! There is a lot of effort from each one of the staff members to ensure that all the guests have a comfortable stay and would definitely say that I got more than what I paid for. Keep up the good job!

Nice hostel placed nearby downtown. The hostel is very clean and all the staff is very friendly. The Hostel offer also the breakfast. We stayed in a room with 4 beds and a large private bathroom. the hostel provides a towel , but no shampoo or shower gel (this is not a criticism , just a warning for any guests).
