I've just returned from a three night stay. I found the hotel to be ideally situated for exploration of Porto. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room comfortable and quiet, though too small for a comfortable chair to be included. The breakfast was good, and the wifi

We had a package with Easyjet for a 3 night stay It was very cheap to go by metro from the airport (2.60 Euros each way) and the station is only a hundred mtrs or so away Metro tickets take a bit of working out how to get though! We were met by the wonderful Fernandez on

Came to Porto from Lisbon to see if we'd like it. At £40 a knock with 'Air Mick' ,it was a steal. The Grande is absolute opulent splendour, and an experience from an age gone by.The room was nice and so was the breakfast in a truly 'Palm Court' setting. The only downside to

Is secure parking available nearby? We are coming in classic cars from U.K.
The hotel has a small garage with limited space and there are several public parkings nearby. Without knowing the number of cars and dates of your journey, we cannot assist you further. Please send us your questions to our reservation department email and we will be happy to help you find a solution.

I had an amazing grilled octopus at a place the hotel recommended right around the block: Restaurante Abadia do Porto. And Restaurante O Escondidinho was old school Portuguese but very good.

What is the best way to get to the hotel from airport First time in Porto
Hi, it is very easy to get from the airport to near the hotel by metro. You want the purple E line and you get off at Bolhao and just walk downhill a few hundred yards in the pedestrianized area to reach the hotel. Buy the ticket from the machine and VALIDATE it before getting on or you will be fined. There was a nice lady, who spoke English, from the metro company standing near the ticket machine at the airport metro station and she helped us. You have to pay about half a euro extra for the ticket card when you first purchase and then you hang on to this card and recharge it when you want to do subsequent journeys or return to the airport. Don't be nervous as it is very direct and inexpensive. The hotel is in this great area of shops and cafes - you will love its location as well as the hotel.
