It is very old and typical portuguese pension. People who work there dont speak english, but they are very nice and warm and trying their best. The building is old and you can hear the noise in the street but it is very centric so it's normal. If you are looking for something fancy its not a place for you....

I have stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights and to find this place is very easy. The location is great as within 5/10 minutes walk many important places in Porto can be reached. Clerigos Tower is 8 min walk, Train terminal 12 min etc., etc. For visitors it can be also interesting to find in near vicinity many restaurants,...

A guest house in an old mansion, it's located a short walk from the "Trindade" metro interchange station and in easy walking distance of central Porto and the river, the room we stayed in was light and airy with an ensuite shower and toilet and was cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided daily. I don't speak Portuguese and the owners...

I stayed here for three nights. I must admit that I had a difficult time finding this place as no one (including the two police officers) I asked seemed to know exactly where this street is as it is a small lane located 'up the hill' from Trindade Metro Station. Upon arriving, I was not thrilled to see a building...

Before flying back from Portugal I rented a room at Residencial Portuguese. It's a nice hotel in the center of Porto among narrow Porto streets. Many places of interest are close to the hotel. The train station is also near. The hotel is run by an old couple. They are kind and hospitable people. Price is reasonable. My room was...

It is located in the center of the city and everything can be reached by walk and the staff are good but there are some major drawbacks. 1. The staff do not speak English at all! 2. There is no heating facility in the rooms. so, you may guess how we stayed there in that cold January night!! 3. There...

I think is a B&B, but breakfast is not included. Is near the most important spots in Porto. Our room smelled like old furniture and mossy ( cause of the bathrooms door wich we could not close) The hosts dont speak any thing else but portuguese and they are cool

Weve just come home after a lovely 5 day trip to Porto. Its a beautiful place with loads to see. We stayed at Residencial Portuguesa in room 11. Its owned by a Portuguese couple who dont speak any English. If their son is there he does speak enough English to get by. The room itself is basic but clean but...

Residencial Portuguesa is a very affordable and cozy hostel in a quiet part of Porto. Located just a few minutes walk from the City Hall and the city center, this hostel is a great place for people on a budget who want to explore the city. The elderly couple who run the hostel are very friendly and helpful. Although I...

Residencial Portuguesa is a cute little hotel/hostel with very friendly (non English speaking) owners. The room we had was cosy, but with a leaking faucet and a very squeaking bed. The location was perfect: near the Night Spot, the centre and the public transport. Tip: go eat at O Caçula (Praça Carlos Alberto, 47) and go shopping at the cutest...
