The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was beautiful. The breakfast each morning in their stunning walled garden was great and so delicious. We had a car so the fact the parking garage was so close was brilliant.

We booked this boutique hotel after reading reviews here and elsewhere and decided against our usual stay at the Liberdade Flores. Unfortunately for us although a one night stay this wasn’t up to the reviews we had read mainly due to one thing So whats good about this place • spacious room, nicely decorated in retro modern furniture • quirky bathroom with antique iron bath and rain shower • comfortable large queen bed with very nice linen So why didn’t we enjoy the stay? Down to one major issue - the air-con didn’t work and the room was an unpleasant 28 degrees all night. Whilst the hotel gave us a small desk fan it was as much us as a chocolate fireguard!! If the air-con had worked the stay would have been perfect. Sorry Rosa - try harder and make sure the facilities advertised work!!

The room is beyond cute, really tasteful interior and loads of space. Super friendly staff, great breakfast and outdoor area (I worked in the garden all morning). The only comment I would make is to make sure that staff communicate to their guests about the extra charge for late checkin (as they forgot to mention this to me). Other than that 100% would recommend to my friends and family, and would stay there again myself. Location is also in the non-touristy part of Porto which I really liked.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this cute bed & breakfast! It’s located about 10-15min walk away from tourist central, so it was nice and quiet in the neighbourhood. Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, although the floors are a bit creeky! The bathroom had a bathtub enclosed in a shower space. It worked just fine, but wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing to look behind the tub. It was obvious that it was hard to clean behind the tub -- new grouting probably would help! Breakfast was fantastic -- the juice was delicious, and croissants / pastries are made fresh in house every morning. They also have a massive selection of teas (like an entire 6ft table covered), perfect if you want to enjoy a cup of tea at night (which we did)! Pedro, Raquel, and the rest of the staff were friendly and hospitable -- they recommended great restaurants, and helped us book one last minute (it was a solid recommendation). The owners also own a retail shop next door, and the boutique actually had some nice clothing for both men and women. We also took a peek at their newly opened restaurant / cafe (about 5 min walk away), and though we didn’t partake, it did look appetizing with great options!

Great hotel and very friendly staff! Breakfast is amazing! The only two negative points are: very dark bathrooms in our room and only one lady to serve breakfast for all the guests, making the service really slow!

Thanks for your lovely comments. We appreciate all reviews and it would have been lovely to understand your concerns while you were staying with us. Where there missing lights in your bathroom? Breakfast is homemade and made by order, so cooking it can be slow taking in account your request or other in the living room. There is a concern of freshly baked and cooked to perfection. Hope to see you back soon with us so we can correct this negative points :)
