Fabulous piece of design. A magic place to stay. A bit of a walk to central Porto but quite manageable and metro not too far away. Great rooms. The food market that is also in the same building is another level and a really great place to eat. Close to Casa da Music, the very modern concert hall with some great concerts on.

This hotel was absolutely lovely! There's a convenient food market that's attached to the hotel so it's super convenient to find a meal either in between exploration or after a long day when you want to be close to your bed. They also have a music theme each month so all of the music they play throughout the hallways and lobby is in that genre. While it's not right in the city centre, it's actually super convenient and inexpensive to Uber to the waterfront or anywhere for that matter! Highly recommend!

This hotel is spectacular. A very classy application of a music theme. I was on the Beethoven floor and they had Für Elise a notation above my bed. Plaza at the first floor is full of the most amazing food vendors I’ve ever seen. I enjoyed every second of this hotel.

With an interesting room layout, the hotel will suit those who want an attached food court with some evening live music. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The metro station is about 5 minutes walk away and, when the new line is complete, will give direct access to the city centre without changing trains.

Really loved this central hotel in Porto. So many images of music here in the reception lounge and bedrooms. Good value as well and loved the rooms. There is an amazing eating extravaganza within the complex. We went as a couple but it works for families too. Nice choice at breakfast too and you can park in their underground car park at a reasonable rate

Spotlessly clean and attractive hotel. We spent two nights here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant on site. Adjacent to a wonderful food court and grocery store. Excellent area for walking and shopping. Highly recommend this gem.

Located within easy reach of the Porto airport via the metro, very clean and modern. Staff greet you with a smile and no questions too small or big to help you. Breakfast is buffet style, so many choices, probably one of the best standard rooms I have had the pleasure of staying in. There is a food market hall literally on your door step to choice local and traditional food and drink from. The hotel itself is surrounded by views, restaurants and culture without being over busy and extremely well priced. If you are thinking about staying in Porto seriously consider this hotel as its great value for money.

The best night sleep ever. The bed was comfortable, the pillows and so quiet. Did not hear any plumbing, traffic outside, the lifts or anything. Best ever. Super breakfast. Happy smiley, helpful staff. Bus terminal immediately behind the hotel and routes to places around the town from nearby streets.

We had a general nice stay in the Hotel da Musica. The rooms were nice, clean, spacious and had nice decor. Good amenities too. However the bathroom set up was a bit problematic as if you are sharing with someone you will not have that much privacy to shower or use the toilet as the doors are glass and there is just a simple curtain that doesn't do much. The location is good, close to the market, but at night this got noisy as they were moving the chairs outside. The hallways smelt of smoked meat, not sure how to explain. Our room was on the ground floor and the access to these rooms was before the reception and really close to the entry to the hotel, and anyone could just wonder in to the hallways of the rooms without any card access which felt extremely unsafe. I locked the door of our room but I was still worried. Also, there wasn't much accessibility in this hotel as there were lots of stairs to get to places and no lifts on those stairs. There was no concierge to help with luggage either. Also beware if you need parking, you need to book this way beforehand. So if the hotel can address these issues, it would have been a much better experience. We did have a nice reception for my sister's birthday with cake, port wine and a card which was a nice touch. Breakfast was overall good too.…

This hotel is a joke . Will never recommend to any of my friends The hotel does not have a parking place . So if you drive to Porto and came late , they are going to provide you a discount ticket to one of the public parking place located about 1 km from the hotel . Our ticket did not work so we need to get in and pay normally ( you do not know the language , you are screwed ) The hallways smell like burned wood . However the rooms are clean and nice . The music coming from the market is sometimes so loud so you can not understand one word when you try to talk to the reception crew . The hotel does not have a pool , which is not a good thing . What I do like is the market attached to the hotel which is offer a lot of good and cheap food .But ... we came to get some rest at the hotel and we encountered so many issue here . I am sad , we picked this hotel based on other people reviews .. but not happy with our choice .…

Dear Valued Guest, We regret that our hotel did not live up to your expectations. However, I must point out that this is the first time that someone has complained about the smell of burnt wood, I don't even understand how this smell reached the hotel and no one else noticed this smell. On the other hand, and as we had the opportunity to inform you locally, we have a car park at the Hotel, but on the day of your arrival it was full, which is why we indicated that there is a public park 400 meters from the Hotel with which we have an agreement and which allows our guests leave their car there at a special price.
