This is a lovely small property right in the heart of town. It is made special by the owner and her staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfasts are really special. We stayed on the top floor which has the advantage of easy access to the rooftop terrace. It's a nice large room which was very comfortable. You can...

As always, it's the people that make the difference, and it is them that we loved at this property. We were greeted by Carmelia, a pleasant young woman who was eager to welcome us to the property The check in process was quick and easy and we were soon to our room to start enjoying this fantastic city by the...

This is a really nice place to stay. Good location and tasteful decoration. Good price. Quiet. Amazing breakfast. They prepared strawberry, kiwi, orange and ginger fresh juice for us. Also amazing fruit salad, different types of bread, and ham and cheese. Will come back here.

I stayed at Margarida da Praca for 2 nights. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Due to work commitments I arrived well past the normal check in hour and the staff was flexible and arranged for a late check in. It is a small place but with a family and cost feel to it. A vintage but stylish touch...

We spent one night here with our kid in January. We were pleased by the friendly receptionist who acommodated our request for a late check-out because of our taking part in a race. The rooms are nicely decorated and painted in bright colours. Ours was Rosa (pink), quite big for the extra bed. Simple and clean bathroom, good shower, we...

This is a nice granite old residential building turned into a hotel. The structure was kept as the noblest materials, like the wooden floors and the granite walls. Usually the granite stone is cold but in the nice decorated rooms it becomes warm. Also warm is the welcoming and the personalized breakfast. Enjoy it as I did!

Nice hotel in the city center, easy to find - the sign, however, is small. Excellent breakfast served at the table. Nice staff. If you go by car, don't forget to ask for discount on parking close to the hotel.

We stayed for 5 days at this well runned hotel with our 10 month old daughter. The hotel is managed by super friendly women . They answerd all our questions before we arrived quickly. We stayed at the quiet Suite at the 3rd floor and got and extra baby bed. Breakfast was tasty! Everything in town is reachable by foot....

We had friends visiting from England and took them to Viana do Castelo for two nights. We stayed in Margarida da Parca, a small friendly hotel with staff who made us feel very welcome and wanted. We loved the breakfast with home made organic produce, and plenty cereal and fresh fruit. The rooms are a bit colourful but the comfy...

This hotel is located in the middle of the center, with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are quite big and the breakfast is nice with fresh juice, bread, croissants, ham, yoghurt... The service can be a bit slow - it was for instance constantly empty from coffee during breakfast even though there were only three guests in the...
