We stayed at Rooms for a family wedding and what a pleasant surprise! We booked a room for my kids (17 and 22) and one for ourselves. Both rooms (better described as apartments) were very spacious with sofas, a kitchen area and shower room. Fridge stocked with juice and milk, cereals, good quality coffee and tea and your breakfast choice...

Was down for a family wedding weekend and booked into the Rooms at no Three. What a great quirky place! Very well kept rooms, clean, tidy and the breakfast was fantastic. There were plenty of amenities left in the fridge, milk and juice restocked each day. I would highly recommend!

I have stayed here three times now and have enjoyed every minute of every stay. Ideal for a solo cyclist, or an accompanied one, the welcome and the breakfast are top notch and the rooms are spacious, cosy and with a splendid bath. Harleston makes a fine place for a stop over and I doubt you'll find anything of this...

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Ginni, we were given a tour and shown all the amenities. The building was beautiful, as was the room, plenty of space with everything you would hope to find in a great B+B. We were in 2002 (the attic space), we had a seperate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. All the rooms were...

A warm welcome from Ginni and Pete, who have worked so hard to create these stylish and unique apartments which combine tradition and contemporary design. On this visit I stayed in the most recent conversion which, although smaller than the others, is perfect for a couple and, as with the other apartments, portrays a sense of light and space ......

Peter and Ginni are very warm, genuine, welcoming and have created a wonderful B&B. There is a restaurant at the same address but I understand that isn't anything to do with the B&B, and is closing. There are plenty of places nearby however for dinner. For a fabulous home from home, stay here!

The frontage of this restaurant with rooms belies a lovely old interior, which is gorgeous apart from the rather jarring brightly-coloured plastic chairs which (speaking personally) are totally at odds with the character of the building and very uncomfortable to boot. The welcome was most efficient and courteous, the menu choices were interesting and varied, the service was seamless and...

A lovely place to eat, food fresh cooked, and they do not keep you waiting for ever. Prices, very good, and wine very realistically priced. Unfortunately, they did not have a late night opening, to see on new year, but their prices were as of the rest of the year, so no paying extortionate prices. Happy New Year.

Hi just to let you know this is not the Trip advisor page for Duffy & Leban restaurant located at Chameleon House, it is the page for 'Rooms at no three' Chameleon House. We are two separate businesses. Kind regards Ginni

We visited here having read a glowing review in the Daily Telegraph a while ago. The food was excellent quality, focusing on local fresh ingredients. My potted shrimps followed by smoked haddock on spinach and saffron risotto was delicious, if a little under seasoned (you can always add more salt). We were so cold that we passed on pudding. But...

Hi just to let you know that the 'rooms' at Chameleon house run by Ginni and Peter Ashken and Duffy & Leban's restaurant are two separate businesses. I have let Sharon & Steve know you left a review concerning the restaurant on our trip advisor page, so that they can address the issues. Kind regards Ginni Ashken

This is a favourite of some of our friends and after our visit we can understand why. Service was friendly, efficient and unhurried. The roast beef was perfectly cooked, slightly pink, beautifully tender and, unusually for these days, had real flavour. The vegetables were also excellent as were the puddings. Prices were higher than a pub, less than a restaurant....
