We couldn't or wished for a better first holiday with our 19 month Staffy!! the paddock is perfectly safely enclosed and gives you a private space to do some of that all important training that appears to be ongoing! also they can have a really good run plenty of sniffs and if your unlucky like us they as with allot or others don't realise the mini stream as you go in and learnt to swim fast!! ( I should note this is certainly deep enough for a swim but shallow and clear enough should you need to save them! ) As for the room that is provided if you bring your dogs bedroom ( crate ) you will have plenty of space for a large one, with direct access to the garden you can bring everything you need through the outer door instead of walking through ( this room couldn't of been more perfect ) For us hoomans, the bed is super comfy with plenty of storage for our stuff, the shower room has plenty of space, we didn't have the breakfast but i'm sure it would of been just perfect, the breakfast table looks out to the garden and for December was full of autumn colours and you can't beat the view over the fields. The road leading to the barn as expected in winter months is a single track shingle type road that does have puddles and mud from the fields so you will need either walking boots, wellies of a good pair of high topped leather boots and a torch if you venture out for a meal, you have one of two local pubs for a meal the first located close to the entrance of the single track leading to your accommodation a short walk the 2nd is more of a 30 minute walk we found the food in the first pub outstanding but the 2nd food just as good but a far more relaxed environment, again you will need a torch, as for the day time, head out to the local beaches they are clean tidy and easy to get to. As for Clive and Jenny, you couldn't wish for nicer people!! and their furry friend Roxy loves to welcome you and for a fab age of 12 she's just lovely. We didn't meet the cat but that's maybe because we had our Boris with us. The shared lounge is cozy any comfy with dog toys for all leather sofas and blankets so you can have a snuggle with your furry friends, in the day again has full length door/window to the garden We couldn't recommend this little gem any higher!! Thank you soo much for creating such a gem.

We had a one night stay with our dog. Beautiful barn. Spotlessly clean. We had the Broadlands room which had a separate door to the garden which was very handy. Bed was very comfortable. Clive and Jenny, the hosts were very friendly and sociable, and the full English was spot on. Lovely accommodation and we cannot wait to return for a bit longer next time

We recently stayed for 2 nights with our dog at the Wortwell Hall Barn. We received a very warm welcome from Clive & Jenny when we arrived. The room was very comfortable with a TV, tea/coffee making facilities & a small fridge. Bathroom had a lovely hot shower. There was a door which opened onto the garden so we could take the dog out. Breakfast was superb with a wide choice & very generous portions. There are walks you can do in the surrounding area & Clive was good enough to print us off some maps. There is a dog friendly pub (Wortwell Bell) within walking distance which was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend Wortwell Hall Barn & hopefully we will return to recharge our batteries in the not so distant future.

First class bed and breakfast accommodation and an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. Clive and Jenny were very friendly hosts and made sure every last detail was taken care of. Spotlessly clean and your choice of breakfast cooked each morning by Clive.
