Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rooms were lovely and the beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The bathrooms were modern, each room had a good quality TV. The location, close to Valberg where we were skiing but had been unable to find any accommodation, was perfect. Just a 10 minute drive up the mountain to get to the slopes. I would happily stay again. The only downside for us was that there were bowls of peanuts on all the tables in the restaurant during the evening meal, so we did not feel able to eat in the hotel restaurant as one of our family members has a severe nut allergy.

The hotel l?escapade is in the Heart of the french alps. The rooms have a balcony with a beautiful view to the mountains. Everything is very clean. The interieur is awsome, everything is fitted with cows ;-)

Characterful hotel, spacious bedroom and dining room, sadly let down by noisy plumbing.
One bedroom had a nice large ensuite bathroom with panoramic views. The other had a tiny shower cubicle with a shared toilet which was just down the corridor - which was perfectly clean and functional but ... On the other hand, this room had exclusive access to a vast terrace, great for al fresco breakfast purchased from local boulangerie.
Beuil is a lovely little hamlet, oozing old world charm and character.
Hotel is recommended, despite its shortcomings.

Very good restaurant. Local cuisine. Excellent value for money. Try the warm cheeses, it s amazing! Nice view on the valley and charming terrace. The desserts were huge! Trip Advisor is forcing to write more and I am out of adjectives. Stupid rule!

We stayed here by accident. The hotel we were scheduled for lost power and recommended this location to us and we booked arriving late in the evening in the off season. We arrived in time for a great dinner, sunset and a good nights rest. Breakfast was a feast and we enjoyed the village for a while before traveling on.

Chose this as a mountain stop for a two-night stay with our little one, based largely on previous TA reviews. Beuil is a wonderful little mountain town/village with narrow streets and it's own ski runs - but not much else open there during the off-ski season so we chose the half-board (1/2 pension) option. Room was clean and spacious enough for us and our travel cot, comfy bed with very clean sheets, and clean well-furnished bathroom.

We knew the area would have stunning scenery, and had a few ideas of where to go, but were helped by the owner/manager who loaned us his map and marked a route to see the prettiest villages and a snow-covered pass to drive through.

Biggest positive was the food. I hadn't realised before I got there, but the hotel and restaurant are Michelin-listed. Not being French, I can't speak precisely of what that means, but suffice to say it is a very positive recommendation, and we were mighty impressed with the food. In the morning, they make their own fresh bread and croissants for breakfast, and amongst the buffet are local charcuterie/sausages and cheeses. In the evening there was a 3-course dinner with some great choices including local pates and terrines for starters, and some amazing desserts.

Arrived for dinner and was seated and a drink in our hand within 5mins. I had the trout with vegetables and despite too much pesto it was great. Only down side are the flys so make sure you sit inside. A very nice 6 year old rouge complemented the meal.

This is an affordable hotel located near the centre of the pretty village on Beuil. It is worth paying the small extra cost to have a room with a balcony, since the view is very good. The bedroom room is quite simple, but then it is a very low cost hotel. The dining room is pleasant. For dinner we started with a selection of local mountain dishes (including some tasty preserved wild mushrooms). and I then had a very good steak.

Unfortunately my wife managed to hurt her knee rather badly while skiing, but the staff were incredibly helpful. Our booking was changed so that we had a room on the first floor. Somewhere they even managed to find a set of crutches to lend us.
