It is the third time that I’ve been staying in Hotel Lozenge and I will always stay here whenever I visit Athens. The location is super convenient on a quiet street just 2 minutes away from syntagma. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The breakfast is of great quality with a great selection of traditional greek pastry. Overall it is a great value for money and it has never failed to make my stay in Athens very pleasant!

We spent 4 nights in this splendid modern well situated hotel in a pedestrianised street in central Athens. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly and their knowledge of the area and fluentsy in English was particularly good. The included breakfast had plenty of choice including Greek dishes and regular cooked bacon, sausage and eggs etc. There was good freshly squeezed orange juice available too – very rare in hotels these days as you are lucky if you can get “not made from concentrate! We can definitely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure visitors to Athens.

We stayed at the Lozenge for four nights before heading to Naxos by ferry. The hotel was clean, modern, and quiet. Our spacious room faced out onto an upscale pedestrianized street in a location that was easily walkable to many attractions. We were in Athens during a heat wave, but the room was comfortably air-conditioned, and a few times we returned to the hotel to cool off before venturing out again. The bed was comfortable and roomy.

The breakfast was excellent, with an outdoor patio, lots of variety, and good service. We also ate dinner there one evening and enjoyed good food and service at reasonable prices.

On our final morning we had to catch an early ferry, and the staff arranged a taxi for us and let us serve ourselves from the buffet 15 minutes before breakfast opened at 7:30. The driver walked over to the hotel from where he was parked and walked us the couple of short blocks to the car. The 20-minute drive to the port cost 28 euros.

I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from Syntagma Square, so really close to everything.

I had chosen the cheapest room (100 euro per night)…after Skiathos and Meteore I did not need a fantastic view and a place to sleep was enough as I would have stayed all day outside. However I needed a quiet room and I opted for one in the third floor and on the back of the hotel that was, confirmed on the phone by the front office, one of the quietest room in the hotel, far from the lift, etc...

But the day after, early in the morning, I unfortunately discovered that they were doing some construction work just in the building attached to my room, and this was very noisy.

I reported this to the front office, and Christina was super: she reallocated me in a room on the 6th floor, upgrading the category of my room, and giving me a room silent, with a balcony,…fantastic. The windows of the balcony could not close properly, but that also was fixed quite quicker.

So, my greatest thanks to Christina and all her colleagues, so nice and helpful. Also her blond colleague (I cannot remember the name) was very very nice, giving me for example knife and fork when I had some pizza delivered late in the evening. Also Alex, that the first night actually helped me to install the app for the food delivery, , and brought me some additional blankets.

Perfect also the day of departure: perfect advice on how to reach the airport, and I could leave the luggage in the hotel.

I suggest it to everyone, and every room, also the one in the third floor (to which my photos refers) as by now the construction work should be ended 😊

Our stay in Hotel Lozenge was so nice. It’s in a central location, we could walk everywhere and was easy to get to directly from the airport (station Syntagma). All of the staff are so welcoming, the rooms are great and modern, and the breakfast was good too! It’s situated in a pedestrian alley which means that you have no cars to worry about - some cafes/restaurants below but as it’s a residential street they don’t stay open late. Definitely recommend!

What a wonderful hotel! From being able to check in 2 hours early & being upgraded for free, the hotel service was amazing. The balcony was a great addition, especially with the warm weather. All staff were so helpful and gave insightful recommendations. I requested an iron & one was delivered within 2 minutes. The hotel itself is in a central location with most tourist hotspots (restaurants & landmarks) being a short walk or metro away. I recommend to all those visiting to Athens!

The hotel well situated in a pedestrian street and near to everything in Athens . Walking distance to all shops , restaurants and rooftops as well to Acropolis , syntagma square and all the other attractions sites . The staff are very friendly especially Marietta who is very helpful , always smiling and give good tips about the places to visit . The breakfast is included and is served daily with an extra attention from the staff in the restaurant especially Le-Anne. Both Marietta and Li Ann we’re very friendly and paid a special attention to my son .The surrounding is very quiet especially by night and during the day many coffee shops and restaurant around . For sure we will book in this hotel for our next trip to Athens . Keep the good job and bravo for the staff .

What a gem of a find. My wife booked this hotel for us after our lovely cruise finished in Athens. When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely smile from Giota and informed that it would not be that long before our room was ready and we were directed to the restaurant next door to receive a complimentary breakfast which was absolutely sublime. The restaurant staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are a credit to their company. Our room was lovely very modern and with tea/coffee making facilities. Excellent AC which went down to 16 Celsius which we found to be a God send as the ambient temperature was 34 Celsius. The Hotel is situated very close to the metro station and the Greek Parliament House. We had lunch and dinner at Lozenge which is prepared to order with fresh ingredients. We made a promise to the hotel that when we return to Athens that we would stay there. A big hello and thank you to Tzeni, Efi, Billy, Marieta, Giota, Vasia , the Chefs and the House keeping staff. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Duncan & Odette from Inverness Scotland.

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights before boarding a cruise ship.
The hotel was just what we needed, clean, modern and in the centre. It is located on a pedestrian street close to the main centre.
It does continental style breakfast with lovely fresh orange juice. I particularly liked the croissants.
It has a bistro which does dinner - ate there one night and was very reasonably priced for good food.
We stayed in a junior suite with balcony which was a great size, had a sofa area and a spacious bathroom. There was a little fridge with some complementary soft drinks.
Would definitely stay again if in Athens.

We walked to near the parliament building and did the open top bus tour which enabled us to see the sights without walking for miles after a long plane journey. Also nearby is Attica, a department store, good for anything you have forgotten and to have some cool air con. There is a little supermarket round the corner and plenty of kiosks around for drinks and snacks.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was a very good size and very well equipped. Bed was supremely comfortable with good quality . linen. Good size bathroom with excellent shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Given the cost of the hotel i have 2 issues .
1 Breakfast was only ok . Poor choice of bread and limited fruit . A bowl of apples and bananas plus a bowl of diced apple in orange juice is not really good enough for a 4 star hotel. . A fruit salad would have helped..
2 The air conditioning unit was very noisy and had no adjustment that enabled it to be turned down. . Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street there is traffic noise so you need the air conditioning on at night as it was too noisy to keep windows open .
Despite these minor gripes i would recommend this hotel. The room had a large balcony.
