The hotel is situated in Plaka on a beautiful street. We were greeted by the friendly staff who throughout our stay were extremely helpful, had a genuine interest in what we had planned, and made us feel so comfortable. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated to a very high standard with a view of the Acropolis and a balcony to overlook the wonderful street below. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was of a good standard, and it’s worth mentioning all staff were following COVID rules, hand sanitiser was readily available and there was even an anti-COVID kit in the room - wipes, mask etc. Whilst precautions were followed, the staff certainly did not lose the personal touch. We would be more than delighted to return.

Booked this place for a 3 day visit in Athens. The hotel is located in the beautiful Plaka quarter just 5 min walk from the Acropolis and near to all the tourist sites. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes are around the corner. The room was spacious and beautifully refurbished. It had everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible: spacious room, large spotless clean bathroom, quality bed, linens, pillows and towels and full of amenities and food/beverage products that were offered complimentary. The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family! Breakfast has to be pre-ordered the night before, but is served at the room at your preferred time and is very tasty. Highly recommended the hotel to anyone visiting Athens!

Absolutely no flaws. Everything was beyond our expectations and we are (very picky) exclusive hotel owners ourselves.
We strongly recommend A77 Andronis for their exceptional accommodation, personalized hospitality and location.
They should charge more.

First impressions of this hotel are ok, except for having to walk through a dress shop which was rather unusual. Room was really well appointed and no problems with this. Our issue is with the breakfast. We were asked at least three times to choose our breakfast option.
I didnt realise that we had to have breakfast in the room. That was ok though, as previously if ive had room service, they have wheeled it in on a big table… not this place. A tray was put down on a small table, delicately balanced. We had to essentially have breakfast on our knees… not something you expect of a room at 333 euro per night.
Breakfast was awful:
No napkins. No side plate for the bread basket. Horrid instant coffee.
For two people we were given, 1 pot of jam, 1 croissant, 2 small brioche and one bread roll.two sachets of butter plus my husband and i both had omelettes which were ok.
The Greek yoghourt was “grainy” and we both left it.

We were so disappointed with breakfast, we went round the corner to “Ergon House” and had a really good breakfast

There is no lounge area, so you cant relax anywhere other than in your room
I think the place looks nice . Definitely not worth the price tag. We will not be staying here again.

Response from John Kyritsis, Sales at A77 Suites
Responded 27 Sept 2021
Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for choosing A77 Suites by Andronis for your recent stay in Athens and for taking the time to share your concerns with us. Kindly note that our hotel lobby is also home for our multi brand fashion boutique that does not interfere with our normal check in, check out or Guest inquiries processes. Fashion boutiques, jewelry or art shops are often part of lobbies in many hotels around the world. As our hotel is a monument listed house of the 19th century, we do not have any breakfast or restaurant area on site, but we take pride in our 6 breakfast options: American, Greek, Olympian Gods, Vegan, Protein and English as well as our fresh Juices and coffee. We serve the breakfast in the Suite, and we try to offer our Guests the experience of the Athenians of the old times, being pampered in the privacy of their Suite. Please note that with the information we have from your TripAdvisor profile we are unable to locate your booking and understand the type of Suite you were offered, but we would like to inform you that all our Suites have their own sitting area and additionally a marble counter that doubles as desk or breakfast area of minimum 3 meters length runs in every Suite. In order for our breakfast procedure to run smoothly we kindly request our Guests to give us their order ahead of time, preferably the night before in order to serve their breakfast on a timely manner. Our coffee is not instant but freshly brewed and our breakfast options have each their own delicacies that are described in detail on the menu provided in the room. Kindly note that we will take your concerns into consideration, while we hope to have the chance of welcoming you back in A77 Suites by Andronis in the near future and do our outmost best to offer you an impeccable stay. Kind regards, A77 Suites by Andronis Sales Team

We were so happy to have booked and stayed in this lovely and peaceful new hotel. The rooms, the space and the entire property was absolutely beautiful and all the touches from bathroom necessities to the candy in the hallways were all so thoughtful. To be honest, the team at A77 were a dream team and because of them our last few days of the trip were truly amazing. The location of A77 was perfect, walking distance from all the shopping and main sights yet also tucked in a special place that allows you to be away from heavy crowds. We can not wait to be back at A77 and spend more time in Athens and Playa! Thank you for everything!

Love the Jurado Sisters,
Leah & Valerie

Just finished a 2 night stay here. I have to agree with previous reviews that this is an excellent place to stay. We booked the Imperial suite and the view of the Acropolis both day and night was amazing and made the stay special.
All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to look after us. The location is great as Plaka is full of little streets with a variety of restaurants and shops. It’s also around 20 minutes walk to the Acropolis entrance.
The only slight negative I could mention is the breakfast which although delightfully delivered to your room by one of the friendly staff is not made on the premises and is delivered by an outside caterer.

From the time we arrived after a 21 hour travel day until we left two days later, the staff at A77 was very helpful and accommodating. The room itself was beautiful. It had an excellent bathroom with large double shower, ample storage space for clothes and very comfortable bed and pillows. The room had ample and very creative lighting. A small balcony overlooked the street, (room 11). This afforded the view of the acropolis as well as allowing an enjoyable view of the street. The only negative was the noise from the late night partiers on Saturday night but that was not a major issue. The location in the Plaka was only a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis. The area is surrounded with fine restaurants and many shops so getting around on foot was very easy. The staff was happy to make recommendations for restaurants as well as calling ahead to make reservations for us. A full catered breakfast was included which was delivered to our room. A wide variety of breakfast options were available Including English, American, Greek, Protein, vegan and even “Olympian gods”. The reception area is at street level in a ladies boutique which is initially confusing but very convenient for last-minute purchases or gifts. The front door is therefore locked after hours, however staff is always available to open the door if you’re getting in late. Overall, we were very pleased and would certainly consider staying here again on another trip to Athens!

The staff is very kind. The petite suite that we booked was very comfortable and well decorated. The building is perfect itself as it used to be an old neoclassical house.
Also I have to say that I havent seen such a generous hotel policy as the room was full of amenities and food/beverage products that were offered complimentary.

We were there for a quick overnight stay. The manager and staff were so great in receiving us and making sure we were well taken care of.

The rooms were spotless with great amenities, and while we didn’t have a room with a view, I believe many of the rooms at this hotel do have views.

Location is amazing, very central to shopping, great restaurants and the Acropolis.

Would go back when in Athens next time. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at this hotel. The hotel location is ideal, the room was immaculate and the complimentary minibar an unexpected treat. Despite the coronavirus restrictions that were happening in Greece at the time (meaning that all bars and restaurants were closed), the staff at the hotel made every effort to make sure our every need was accommodated, recommending places to order food from and delivering it to our door. I already can not wait to return.

Does this hotel have an elevator?
Answer from A77 Suites
Athens, Greece
Dear Guests, We would like to thank you for your interest in A77 Suites by Andronis. We would like to inform you that our property is a late 19th century neoclassical, Athenian mansion, that has been fully renovated. There is an elevator starting from the lobby level up to the 2nd floor of the property. Due to the unique architecture of the building and the fact that it is an archeology protected site, there are the below mentioned unique accommodations: Iconic Suite that has its own staircase on the top floor of the property, offering a breathtaking view of the Acropolis. Courtyard Suite that has 3 steps in the room, going out on the little private Athenian courtyard. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further inquiries or questions you might have. Kind regards, A77 Suites by Andronis Team
